In this episode of Confessions of the Pickup Artist, I’m sharing one of my favorite stories from the early days of dating the man who eventually became my husband. Before he was filming three Christmas movies a year for Hallmark, he was getting drunk and crashing into chimineas.

Somewhere between rooftop drinks, an irresponsible amount of gin, and one completely destroyed terracotta fire pit, I somehow decided to give him a second date.

Was it a terrible first impression? Absolutely.

Was it the last dating disaster? Not even close.
