  • When it comes to your New Year’s, resolution, progress over perfection
Every year it seems that we set goals and we never get it together but that’s OK because my new mantra is progress over perfection. I’m not looking to be perfect out the gate. I’m looking to build a discipline in order for me to achieve all the goals in which I set for myself I’m looking for me to create action plans for all of the things that I want in my life. Don’t let society Rush your process

  • How much of you do you suppress because of other peoples oppions ?
Today’s episode, we’re going to talk about how we suppress ourselves to fit in society. The way that we talk the clothes that we buy the things that we say are often times not our own and only what is deemed acceptable by society how much of the things that you wanna do you haven’t done because you’re so afraid of what someone else is going to think about it? I talk about my struggle and wanting to be excepted by society and how I have suppressed myself in many ways because I don’t want to look crazy or I’m afraid that people are going to have an opinion about me and that I was taught that other peoples opinions of me is way more important than what I feel about myself.

  • You design your own life.if your life sucks, it’s b/c of you. Don’t be mad at others for living
I know the title sucks because often times we are our circumstances or so it feels however, our lives is our own and whatever it is that we want we can have we design how it’s gonna look what we’re gonna do what we’re gonna say and what we’re gonna be. It’s up to us to choose who we are and what we want and so design your life the way that you want it and don’t be mad at someone else for designing their life the way that they want it you’re either a dreamer or doer.

  • Self respect is low in the black community
I’m gonna say this once you can ask a man to respect you and then also ask him to feed you. You can’t continue to request someone to respect you, but at any chance for any amount of money you’re willing to disrespect yourself. If you want someone to respect you, you have to first respect yourself and then have your own shit. Often times I feel like my community keeps getting it wrong and begging to be taken care when we have all the tools to take care of our self.

  • Learning to say “No” and honor my own feelings even when it’s going to hurt others
For some of us, our entire lives, we’ve been told that we are to put ourselves on the back burner in order to make others feel comfortable. I discuss here how I’ve decided to honor myself in doing the things I want to do, and choosing not to do the things that I do not want to do. learning to love yourself outside of the noise. You are just as important as everyone else and how you feel it’s just as important as how everyone else feels, and I’m here to say that we no longer need to stretch ourselves in ways that feel unnatural to us or do the things that we do not want to do. When others do not understand.

  • How I manage the stress of life just lifing and the Chaos of it all
In life we aren’t given the tools to manage life. We aren’t taught how to manage stress or when things just don’t go away. It’s one of the things that you have to learn just by living life and how you want to cope with living an unpredictable life. We can’t always control what happens to us but we definitely can control how we respond to those things that do happen to us
