I am so excited to be joining you all today on my last day of 75 Hard! It’s been quite the journey and I can’t wait to reflect on it with all of you. I also want to touch on boundaries today and how to keep your boundaries when you are faced with resistance. There’s so much great information to cover today, so sit back and relax! 

Weekly Fav: Lately I’ve been loving wearing less makeup and just under-painting. I love how much lighter my makeup feels when I wear less foundation and this makeup is perfect for summer! Wearing less is just the vibe.

I’m so excited to be joining you all today, to be diving into 75 Hard and how I’m feeling about how it’s going, as well as my plans for after 75 Hard. While 75 Hard has had so many benefits and has helped my mental toughness, I’ve also found a few areas that aren’t working as well and I’d love to adjust them. Sometimes it can be easy to let your basics slip when you're trying to do harder things. It’s important to acknowledge when that happens and adjust to do better.

Weekly Fav: Lately my biggest obsession has been adding coconut cream to sodas to make dirty sodas. It’s so good and it’s a great sweet treat! 

Confidence Corner: Recently I had a realization that while I’ve been doing 75 Hard I’ve just been checking boxes and working through the vagueness of it all. It’s been making me feel so much more confident to go back to focusing on my basics and getting clear on what I need to be doing. 

Highlights of this episode: 

What adjustments I’m going to be making to 75 Hard to better adapt it to me and let it build my confidence 

What are you doing today that is getting you to something better in the next 20-30 days? 

Improving my mindset, especially around drinking, so that I am able to do better at accomplishing my goals 

We are feeling the need to take the edge off because we aren’t looking in the mirror and seeing what we actually need.

Hi, everyone! Thank you for joining me for today’s solo episode to discuss confidence and self love. Oftentimes we can find ourselves attaching our self worth to different things in our lives, and that is not the proper way to love yourself. We need to find a way to be proud of and love ourselves without any buts. 

Weekly Fav: Something that I have been loving this week is studying Stoicism. I’m in a place currently where I need to stop getting in my own way and stoicism is really helping me focus on what I can control.

75 Hard Update: Currently, I am on day 60, but I just got back from a vacation where there were lots of opportunities to drink. At first, I was viewing my inability to drink as a restriction, but I learned to change my mindset to be more motivating. I am choosing not to drink, not being forced to not drink.

Welcome back to the podcast! I’m finally back after a bit of a hiatus, but I’m so excited to be chatting with all of you again! Today we’re having another solo and super-casual episode just to catch you up on what I’ve been doing, as well as what I’ve learned about myself since the last episode. 

Highlights of this episode: 

Lately I’ve been cleaning up the backend of Lechuga Trucking, and while parts of it have been therapeutic, most of the process has been holding me hostage and causing me a lot of stress. 

We can’t let something take over our mental state. 

We shouldn’t be living in the “what ifs” of life. We need to be doing our best to live in the now. 

We can choose our hard. Do we want the hard of taking the next step, or do we want to always be living in the stress?

Since I’ve started doing 75 Hard, there have been so many parts that I love, like how it motivates me to work out and how much better I feel when I’m not drinking. However, there are also parts that make me quite nervous. While it’s easy to stay motivated now with 75 Hard, will I be able to stay motivated without it? In today’s episode we are diving into how we can find motivation and remind ourselves that we can do hard things. Thanks for tuning in!

Lately I’ve been really trying to embrace the slick-back hair, clean-girl aesthetic. This  attempt has only been exacerbated by my recent incident where I cut my finger, and am no longer able to wash my hair for a few days. We’re making it work, though, and I’ve even added bows to really tie my hair together. 

I recently bought Rene and myself an Oura ring and it’s been super cool to see what it’s told me so far about myself! If you have an Oura ring, let me know your thoughts on it!

This has absolutely changed my world and my worldview and I’ve only just started! Today we’ll be diving into the nitty gritty of 75 Hard and why I decided to do it, as well as answering some of your questions. Thanks for tuning in! 

Highlights from this episode :

It can be hard to find motivation to do something difficult like 75 Hard, but it’s important to stay consistent. 

Even though we are doing some of our workouts together, Rene is not participating in 75 Hard with me. It's still fun to get the opportunity to do certain aspects of it together, but we have different goals that we are striving to accomplish, and that’s ok! 

I’ve discovered a lot about myself, being in the mentality that 75 Hard puts you in. It’s been really nice to be able to evaluate and learn from these new discoveries. 

To be successful and feel fulfillment, especially in your work, you need to have a plan of where you want to be in the next 10-20 years and how you are going to get there.

Highlights from this episode: 

It’s a common misconception that you should be buying lingerie for your partner or that you need to be a certain weight before you can buy lingerie, but that’s just not true. Lingerie is for YOU! It’s a great way to show yourself love and self expression. It shouldn’t be anything to feel shame or guilt around. 

An important aspect of showing yourself love is being aware of the relationships around you. It’s important to be putting up boundaries in our relationships to help ourselves and it’s also okay for relationships to grow, even if it means growing apart.

Life updates and highlights :

I moved to an apartment with more space last year, which has been wonderful, but our new place actually didn’t have a storage unit, so it didn’t necessarily feel that much more spacious than our old apartment. We got a new storage unit this week though and we have been loving freeing up space! As a result we have been happier at home and I’ve been cooking dinner more often. I love how good things have a domino effect in our lives for more good to come!

We’ve also really been enjoying watching gambling and learning Baccarat. We had a special day gambling where just hanging onto a Lapis stone brought us good luck from Rene’s dad.

Dropping an episode today to talk all about protecting your emotional energy! What’s up? I’m so excited you’re here today!

Let’s dive right into my Weekly Fave : I have been loving the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. It’s wild, and it’s really been so clear to me while watching that we need to focus on managing our OWN emotions.

Here’s what we can do ( and it’s all we can really do anyway): 

We need to release the need to change others.

When we release the need to change others there is less at stake, less high emotional volatility. We aren’t wanting anyone to be a certain way. We are just open to what comes mentally and emotionally. We manage our emotions with no expectations of others. 

OK so identify a social interaction that might be coming. Imagine an interaction bubble all around you. Fill it with your favorite color and how you want to feel when leaving this interaction. Do you want to feel safe, secure and accepted? Fill your bubble with those feelings. 

This is one of the things we talk about in Baddie Girls Club. Our bubble focuses on how we feel, what we need and it blocks out other people’s judgment. We protect ourselves from being emotionally drained.
