This week's episode I talk about how time management may not be the issue and it could be that you just have too much going on at once.
Overwhelm is such a hidden topic that really doesn't get talked about in enough detail. I shared on the episode a discussion I had with a lady who is a mum of a young child and her husband is a FIFO work and the challenges of fitting everything in including her own self care.
We all have the same amount of time in a 24 hour day and yes we can learn to change a habit to use our time more wisely however the exercise I share I think will benefit everyone who actually takes the time to do it.
If you take a bird's eye view of everything that you are trying to juggle and manage and be able to see it with fresh eyes you might be able to eliminate some of your tasks or at least schedule them in a bit more to help you balance everything out.
Being in a state of overwhelm and not managing your time can absolutely put you into a negative mindset however I can guide you on making small changes that will help overcome this.

On today's episode I talked about how challenging it can be sometimes in making decisions for yourself and some of the reasons why. As a women I find it extremely powerful to be able to make your own decision however the older we get I can see that we question ourselves much more.
I talked about how our confidence, self worth and what we think of ourselves is a big part of making good decisions and building confidence is not something you can read about in a book, we have to practice confidence until it becomes apart of us.
Decisions can be a challenge especially when it could affect circumstances or others around us and this can stop us from my decisions even if they are really small like choosing where to have dinner. Being a woman we have so many hats on and we are so conditioned to help others and give others advice about making decision and when it comes to us I think there is some form of guilt behind it.
I share how you can question yourself and ask you to dig deeper from within to see if you can find a story or a program in your subconscious mind that is stopping you from making decisions quickly and easily.
Making decisions is something we all need to get better at, and the more we practice doing this for ourselves the quicker our life will change.

Today's episode I share my own experience with body shaming and how uncomfortable I felt within myself and how I got around the feelings.
As a women there is so much pressure to look a certain way, be a certain way and its alot to take on board sometimes.
I have been unfit and then fit and then unfit again and its been a rollercoaster of trial and error and reaching the age of 50 is not different. There is still so much pressure and I feel like being a Health & Wellness Coach I need to show up as my best version but today I didn't so I wanted to share my 24 hour journey because I wanted you to know you are not alone.
Sometimes our focus is on other things and parts of our lives takes a backseat and that it ok, the gold is how we then get back on track and reach the vision we have of ourself.
I want you to love the best version of yourself and be the best you can be and Coaching with me is going to help you get there.

This week I talk about when everything just gets too much for you and you have reached your limit. My word I use is to describe it is 'bandwith'.
We all reach a point when we feel like we can't take on anymore and our cup is full and overflowing and its not necessarily the good stuff.
I share with you my recent experience of this overwhelm and how I recognised what was going on so I could put some strategies in place to help me get back into balance.

This week I talk about story of a lady that had a relationship end suddenly and how she looks back and sees the red flags and chose to ignore them.
Relationships are meant for two people to grow together not shame them and dictate what they should wear or be someone different.
I was once in a relationship very much like this and the person would even buy me clothes he wanted me to wear. At the time I didn't think much of it apart from that he really loved me and wanted to spoil me but looking back, I was so wrong.
I hope this episode inspires you to look within and if you see red flags question them before someone else makes you feel worse then they should.

This week's podcast is something that gets asked alot by ladies starting their self discovery journey. They can see that they are the ones that need to change but what do they change first.
I talk about my own experience and explain how I weaved myself through this right at the beginning and share a exercise how to start identifying what their starting point could be.
Change is inevitable if you want to get different results, different outcomes and live a completely different life and I know first hand it is totally possible.
As women we put ourselves last and I am teaching more and more women each day to start putting themselves first and live the life they are here to live.

Today I was a little fired up about dieting and how much it affects us as a women and it knocks our confidence. It's a challenge enough being a middle aged woman and dealing with menopause then to have to have so much pressure on ourselves to look a certain way.
I shared my own experience and how today I was struggling myself with some old patterns that crept back in and if we truly want to break this cycle we have to go within.
If you are struggling you might like to reach out to a professional dietitian and please make sure they are licenced and qualified. This is a tricky subject but I think we need to talk about it alot more so we can break the cycle you may be in.
I know when I feel and look better I am a much better person to be around but we shouldn't let food determine who we are.

Today's episode is all about boundaries in relationships, not just intimate ones but every relationship you have with people. This could also be about yourself as well.
I also share in this episode an experiment I did with my partner and how it took some open conversations, trial and error but we now have managed to set a clear boundary around coming into a room without knocking or waiting to be invited into the room.
The boundaries we set are setting a great example for our family especially if you have young children and the people you spend the most time with. It may be challenging at first but persistence, practice and patience is the key to this.
One of my modules in my Coaching program dives deeper into this so please reach out if you want to help change this in your own life and create a better life for not only you but for the people around you.

Today's episode is a little bit different and a topic that might cause some controversy but after a conversation with a lady today I had to talk about it. This lady touched my heart and she is now a cancer survivor and I can't share her full story but I can share snippets that might help you to think differently. Cherish the gift of your own life.
We can often take our lives for granted and think nothing will ever happen to us, we will be right. Well I am here to share with you you just don't know what the universe has in store for us.
I know we can't predict the future however we can be taking much better care of ourselves and one way to do that is self examine of our breasts, our cervix and even out teeth.

This week I talk about how women in the workplace don't feel seen and heard and how it is making them feel. I talked to one lady this week and she was so upset and was made to feel dumb and stupid and that is not cool.
Living as a 40 plus woman life starts to get a bit trickier especially when our bosses start to think that we are getting to old to be working. Our ideas are not heard properly and if that was a man I am sure they wouldn't be made to feel as dumb.
At this age of our life we have so much experience and we should be leaned on more but some places don't see it like that and our experience goes to waste. The younger generation is creeping in with their new certification and probably lesser wages but how does that benefit a company that really does need experience.
We need to stand up as a woman and be proud of who we are and if people don't hear us, then we need to find people who do!
