In this episode, you will learn:
I am so excited to share with you this next interview with Billy Borja, who is the operating partner of three Orange Theory Fitness's in the San Diego area, and the Founder and CEO of the very innovative VibeFlow Yoga. We all know how amazing OTF is, I mean, after once class I do the whole weigh myself on the scale thing thinking that I’ve lost five pounds. Seriously. There he manages a staff of over 60 and brings joy to over 3,000 members in his multiple locations across San Diego. It goes to show that Billy not only talks the talk, but he walks the walk. With his other venture, yes, he has a whole other business, VibeFlow Yoga, which is a fifty-minute class that uses the whole body vibration to increase mental clarity and awareness, improve balance and coordination, help to reduce joint and back pain, and, strengthen and tone your body. Their exclusive audio system will take you on a voice and music journey that allows you tune out all outside distractions and focus more on you.
He’s also married with three children, and has been a successful business owner of multiple business over the last 20 years. In addition, he is a public speaker on leadership, faith, and success. So far, based on all of Billy’s accomplishments, I’m sure it’s no surprise to you when I say that he has this infectious energy and charisma for life. From our first meeting, I knew he had a lot to learn him, and through our discussions, he was more than willing to share. It hasn’t always been an easy road for Billy, but he has shown how you can overcome adversity, and truly come out the other side stronger and as a better version of you. Listen in to hear more about Billy’s path to success, the two pivotal challenges he faced that grew him into the amazing person he is today, and his take on the “importance of relationships”. Enjoy.
In this episode, I’m sharing a perspective shift around success, achievement, and the pressure so many of us live under without even realizing it.
For a long time, I tied my worth to productivity, results, and external milestones. I believed that once I finally achieved enough, arrived somewhere, or proved myself, then I would feel fulfilled, confident, and at peace.
But what if success was never meant to look the same for everyone?
Inside this episode, I share:
If you’ve been stuck in the cycle of constantly chasing the next thing while still feeling like it’s not enough, this episode will invite you to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters to you.
You don’t need to wait until you “make it” to begin enjoying your life.
In this episode, I’m sharing more of my personal story - the unexpected experiences, challenges, and turning points that ultimately led me to the life I live today in San Diego.
So often, we resist what’s happening because it doesn’t look how we imagined it would, but looking back, some of the moments that felt the hardest or most uncertain ended up guiding me exactly where I needed to go.
Inside this episode, I share:
If you’ve been questioning your path, feeling discouraged, or wondering if things will ever come together, I hope this episode reminds you that life may be unfolding in ways you simply can’t fully see yet.
Your life is not over because things didn’t go according to plan. Sometimes the detours become the very thing that leads you home.

In this episode, you will learn:
I recently had the opportunity to connect with the fabulous Kera Murphy, who is the Owner and Sales Director of the La Jolla Sports Club off Fay Avenue in the Village. With over 23,000 Sf, 85 weekly classes, a staff of over 63 fitness professionals, steam rooms, infared saunas, even chilled eucalyptus towels. Kera and her staff do not skimp in any way when it comes to providing service to their members.
In addition to all this, she is also successfully operating three other businesses including SanDiego.com, KLM hair design and her nonprofit for animals and children, The Promising Future Fund.
As you can already guess, Kera is one driven gal, but beyond all that, she is also kind and confident, while still maintaining an approachable sense and is realistic about life. After growing up on a produce farm in upstate New York with her mother, listen in to hear what one decision drove Kera to leave behind what some would call the perfect life, selling all of her belongings and moving out to La Jolla, and we’re so glad she did. I loved recording this episode, so listen in to learn more about Kera, what she knows for sure, and how she has overcome the obstacles in her life by ‘Just handling it’. I hope you enjoy this episode of The La Jolla Local as much as I do.
