Fears on Wall Street kicked up again recently, causing many people to wonder if a recession is on the way.
Chuck Johnson, financial advisor and founder of Guardian Planners in DuBois, says the market does tend to go in cycles and there is one sign that everyone has their eye on.... inverted yield curve.
The yield curve has inverted before every recession in the United State since 1955. As the yield curve has started to invert, some investors think a recession could be on the way.
Johnson says although some signs point to a recession on the horizon, it might not be immediately. It generally takes up to 24 months.
Chuck Johnson says that if you are concerned about your financial investments, especially if you are worried they are too risky at the moment, that you should always share those concerns with your own financial planner.
