Today’s interview is with Brenda Del Monte, a speech language pathologist (SLP), and the author of the book I See You In There. Brenda is an SLP who specializes in providing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to individual with complicated bodies and complex needs.
I See You In There, is a collection of personal stories of the people and events Brenda has been inspired by over her life time, but mostly about the stories of the families and individuals she has worked with over the last 23 years of her career as a Speech-Language Pathologist committed to providing a voice to the voiceless.
The stories she shares are inspirational and heartfelt. They inspire the reader to see the person inside a complicated body, and provide valuable knowledge and simple truths that can empower us all to make a positive difference!
