Herod had justified what he knew to be wrong. Now he found himself trapped into doing wrong he saw no way out of.

Loyalty to Jesus will come at worldly cost but the benefit is heavenly reward.

When we know Whose we are, we know where our help comes from.

Properly packing is walking according to His instructions. Properly packing means trusting for His provision.

What they knew of Jesus and heard about Jesus has not brought them to know Jesus.

As it turns out seeing is not believing, it is believing that allows us to truly see.

He is risen may be a confession of faith but it was first a statement of fact.

‘Only believe’ is a command to keep believing despite the new circumstances.

Fear of the Lord leads me to follow on His terms, not dictate my own.

It is only as we recognize Who Jesus is that we realize we can trust Him.
