It is easier to live for the pleasures of today than the promises of tomorrow. But what does it profit a person to gain the world and forfeit their soul? Once you realize what Jesus offers, you recognize He is worth following whatever the cost.

Jesus assures us of the gradual but guaranteed growth of the Kingdom.

Do you have ears to hear and eyes to see that you might take God’s word to heart?

It really isn’t just about the way we act; it really isn’t just about what we do or don’t do; God looks at the heart.

These chapters highlight a growing opposition to Jesus but culminate with a new family established around Him.

The unforgivable sin is the willful rejection of the drawing of the Spirit to Jesus.
