On this week’s episode, I am joined by IFS Educator & Facilitator, Christine Dixon, where Christine shares her life work and how we can heal through IFS (Internal Family Systems)
In this episode we talk about:
- How Christine was first introduced to IFS & Parts work through Martha Beck

Here is a bit more about Christine:
After over 20 years as an Educational Therapist, Christine experienced physical symptoms that led her to be bedridden for over a year. In her search for healing, she eventually discovered that her body was manifesting trauma that had not been processed. She embarked on a journey to understand and heal herself, and naturally began sharing what she learned with others. She trained with Martha Beck in her Wayfinder Life Coach Training program. This is where Christine first met IFS, Internal Family Systems, which would become her life's calling. She now teaches and leads groups around this Self-healing modality.

On this episode, I am joined by Breathwork & Somatic Therapist, Alexandra McCalla to talk about her healing journey with somatics and breathwork.
In this episode we talk about:
- How Alexandra was introduced to her body wisdom through her breath while working with a coach to be an even more efficient tech leader.
- How she lost everything she knew her life to be and transitioned from being a tech leader to now be a Breathwork & Somatic Therapist
- How her body started to communicate to her when she started setting boundaries
- How Somatic Experiencing helped her feel safer and process various traumas
- Sharing for the first time vulnerable and intimate aspects of her healing journey
- How she supports people into healing using both bottom u & top down approaches to heal, using somatics and breathwork.
Here is a bit more about Alex:
Alex works with breathwork and somatic therapy to liberate stuck energy and emotion in the body. She’s focused on facilitating people towards more embodiment: being more connected to your true self and to others! With a wide range of experiences both in business, as an award-winning technology entrepreneur, and in therapeutic modalities, Alex brings a holistic approach to holding space for the multiple parts within us. Having worked through her own acute post-traumatic stress symptoms and auto-immune issues alongside her training she is strongly informed by how trauma and the nervous system function. She guides her clients and groups through similar challenges - all while staying grounded in a gentle breath. As a black dual heritage woman working through racialised trauma in the body is also a focus of her practice. Outside of that Alex loves music and was a DJ in a past life, and so she loves to dance around and let that inner child play!

On this episode, I am joined by Breathwork Trainer & Practitioner, Kerry Veitch in a deep conversation about conscious connected breathwork.
We talk about the history of Rebirthing Breathwork and its lineage, what is warm water rebirthing, the archetypes of water and why it is so healing.
Kerry also shares some of her most profound breathwork experience, especially her process of integrating her birthing experience and also her journey on how she got into breathwork.
Here is a bit more about Kerry:
Kerry has been connected with Rebirthing and conscious connected breathing since 1993, with a focus now on embodiment practices such as Internal Family Systems and Eugene Gendlin's Focusing. Kerry has a trauma informed approach, and is a trainer with two breathwork schools , AIR School of Breathwork and Alchemy of Breath. She loves sharing the healing power of the breath with others, by holding warm water rebirthing retreats, weekly groups and 1:1 sessions.
Kerry also co-founded and is the festival director of the UK's first Breathwork Festival which is an annual event celebrating all kinds of breathwork and is a practitioner member of the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance, GPBA. Kerry’s very grounded nature holds a very safe space for breather(s), holding them in their highest potential and being committed to the unfolding of each person’s own journey which of course is guided perfectly by our breath.

In today’s episode, Cris & I talk about following our dreams and my take on what our soul's desire is.
I see our soul work as what our heart's most deepest desire?
We often think we can either be spiritual and do good in the world or make money. But what if we do good and have money at the same time too? And if we do something or desire something, what is the intention behind it?
Can we really be honest with ourselves?
We also talk about following your dream and my perspective on that.
I invite you to join us in this conversations and let us know what you think.
What is one thing you take away from it?

Episode 2 of Connecting the Human Dots podcast is out now.
In today’s episode, Cris & I explore the relationship we have with our bodies. We talk about hate, shame, how we objectify our bodies, self-compassion and so much more.
Especially as women, we have parts of us that we hate.
And inside of us, alongside the cognitive narrative we also have a somatic narrative that drive our perception of ourselves and our bodies.
And this is why including the body in our healing and explorations is so important.
We are so used to objectify ourselves, to see our bodies as something we need to do something to, to fix, to intervene, to change.
This is a subject that is very close to my heart and this is a very intimate conversation.
I invite you to join us in this conversations and let us know what you think.

Welcome back to a new season of Connecting The Human Dots podcast: the conversations you didn't know you needed!
After a 3 years break, we are making a comeback, a homecoming.
My intention for these conversations is to be: unedited, unfiltered
and unscripted. I want you to get the full raw conversations I will be having with my special guests.
In this season, I start with a 3 part series where my friend, Cristina Guraliuc is asking me different questions relating to a theme.
I find that I work best when I have a companion and someone else asks me questions to which I can answer in the flow.
This first episode of 3 we look at the mind: how powerful it can be, why we have this split between the mind and the body, how what we say to ourselves can be helpful of keep us stuck.
We talk about choices, how fatigue I shown to also be a mental construct, the important of language and how our words impact our body and stress response and so much more.
I invite you to join us in this conversations and let us know what you think.
