We are a people in desparate need of a deliverer who is not bound by death.

God uses half-hearted obedience and half-hearted repentance to demonstrate the

fullness and sufficiency of His Grace.

Judges is a story of the mess in which God works.

We have reason to be grateful to God because he delivers the wanderer, the imprisoned, the fool, and the proud.

Joy is the result of God bringing restoration.

We were weak, fatherless, afflicted, destitute, needy, and under the power of the wicked one; but Jesus adopted, justified, defended, rescued, and delivered us into His eternal inheritance.

In any circumstance, no matter how deep and dark it seems, there is forgiveness. Psalm 130 is a song we sing with believers as we trek through life, reminding us of the hope we have, and the plentiful redemption and grace offered by Jesus.

We have great reason to be the most patient, prayerful and praise-giving people. We have a great God who gives great deliverance in whom we have great faith.

God’s abundant mercy over our sin and sinfulness restores us to communion with the Father and overflows to proclamation in mission and worship.
