This Christmas celebration we heard the story of the birth of Jesus through scripture readings and songs. Pastor Jon reminded us the greatest gift God gave us in Jesus is that we could become sons & daughters of the Father.

This week, we looked at how God promised to send a Messiah, a savior for His people. He told Mary she would have the Son of God and Jesus was born to Mary just as God promised, one born in flesh who would die for His people.

This week we looked at Luke 1 and how God sent a prophet to prepare the way for Jesus, the Messiah. This prophet was John the Baptist who has an incredible story of God calling Him before birth for His work. God has sent His people into His world for His mission. We are meant to be SENT.

This week, we look at the humanity of Jesus and ask the question, "Was Jesus fully man?" Pastor Jon teaches us how Jesus' can in the flesh and how His humanity makes Him our High Priest who can relate to our weaknesses in the flesh.

This week we answer the question "Is Jesus God?" There has been much debate since His coming to Earth and many different beliefs. It matters what we believe about Jesus as He is our salvation.

This week, Pastor Jon pointed us to 1 Peter 2:9-12 and how our beautiful identity as God's people leads to us proclaiming the Gospel.

This week we looked at how stewardship is how we manage and utilize everything that God has given us for HIS glory. Pastor Jon used 2 Corinthians 8 and 9 to answer questions of how much, what is generous giving and why should we.

This week we talked through the Spiritual Discipline of Serving. Pastor Jon showed us from scripture why followers of Jesus should serve and then challenged us to engage in doing so.

This week, Pastor Jon walked us through the discipline of fasting. We looked at the how fasting is a time for focusing on God and they vary in times and types. A Godly fast has a biblical purpose and answers the "why" question.
