We discuss it’s grossly inaccurate plot casting the villainous slave trading tribe “Dahomey” as heroes who were against slavery which couldn’t have been further from the truth! The claim or at least insinuation is that the tribal army was made up of all females &/or they were the toughest warriors which is also completely inaccurate as well. I won’t list off all of the inaccuracies in this description but needless to say there are many which we discuss in this nearly 2-1/2 hour podcast episode along with commentary on Hollywood & the agenda they promote far & above historical accuracy.
