6-24-25  Conservative Commandos: Israel-Iran ceasefire holds, but experts warn Tehran’s nuclear ambitions far from dead!!
A fragile Israel-Iran ceasefire held Tuesday and delivered a short-term political win to President Trump.  However, analysts and former U.S. officials say Mr. Trump faces a much bigger, longer-term problem: A government in Tehran that, if allowed to survive with even a small piece of its nuclear program intact, may feel compelled to race toward a nuclear weapon as fast as possible.
The roughly 10-day Israeli air campaign and the U.S. strikes Saturday on three key Iranian nuclear sites have, by all accounts, caused significant damage to Tehran’s nuclear program. Still, Iran possesses enriched uranium, and assessments from arms control organizations say multiple Iranian nuclear-related facilities may be viable.  The U.S. bombing set back Iran’s overall nuclear program by only a few months, according to multiple reports citing a preliminary classified U.S. intelligence report.
Nuclear experts readily concede that the work of containing Iran’s atomic ambitions is by no means over.  Rafael Grossi, director of the United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency, said in a social media post Tuesday that he wants to meet as soon as possible with Iranian officials to find “a diplomatic solution to the long-standing controversy over [Iran’s] nuclear program.”
The subtext of those comments is that the nuclear program still exists and must be resolved through a diplomatic agreement.
Some national security insiders and longtime Iran specialists warn that expecting Iran to voluntarily end its nuclear program, even after the intense Israeli and U.S. military campaigns, would be a mistake. What’s more, it seems conceivable that Iran’s political leadership could conclude that months of direct diplomatic negotiations with the Trump administration accomplished very little and that the U.S. attacks on nuclear facilities at Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan only confirm that Tehran will never be truly safe without an atomic bomb.
“Iran’s nuclear program is like a glioblastoma; leave a single cell behind, and the tumor will regrow,” said former Defense Department official Michael Rubin, now a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute.
Mr. Rubin said assessing Iran’s nuclear capabilities in a vacuum is a mistake. Although U.S. and Israeli bombs may have slowed the program, Iran was surely preparing for the American strikes and took steps to mitigate their damage. Tehran could also reach out to some of its nuclear-armed allies for assistance in rebuilding its capabilities.
That might make little sense on the surface. Neither China nor Russia, for example, would benefit from a nuclear-equipped Iran. Still, it’s worth remembering that former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev just this week stated on social media that a “number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads.”
“When the CIA assesses Iran, assumptions matter. What might be a decade delay if Iran’s program remains indigenous becomes just a yearlong setback if North Korea, Pakistan, Russia or China help,” Mr. Rubin told The Washington Times on Tuesday. “As for letting the enriched uranium slip through our fingers, that’s an intelligence failure on par with Iraq.”
That “enriched uranium” refers to apparent satellite images showing a large number of trucks at the Fordo nuclear site in the days and hours leading up to the U.S. airstrikes.

Those vehicles may have transported uranium away from the site to other underground locations across the country.
Recent IAEA data showed that Iran has nearly 900 pounds of uranium enriched up to 60%, which is a short, technical step away from weapons-grade levels of 90%.
Specialists say the status of that uranium is a major question.
“The longer the location of this highly enriched uranium stockpile remains unknown, the greater the potential for a proliferation crisis,” Joseph Rodgers, deputy director and fellow on the Project on Nuclear Issues at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, wrote in an analysis this week.

6-23-25  Conservative Commandos: How the US bombarded Iranian nuclear sites without detection
U.S. pilots dropped 30,000-pound bombs early Sunday on two key underground uranium enrichment plants in Iran, delivering what American military leaders believe is a knockout blow to a nuclear program that Israel views as an existential threat and has been pummeling for more than a week. American sailors bolstered the surprise mission by firing dozens of cruise missiles from a submarine toward at least one other site.
Dubbed Operation Midnight Hammer, U.S. officials say the plan was characterized by a “precision strike” that “devastated the Iranian nuclear program,” even as they acknowledged an assessment was ongoing. For its part, Iran denied that any significant damage had been done, and the Islamic Republic pledged to retaliate.
Taking off from the U.S. heartland, B-2 stealth bombers delivered a total of 420,000 pounds of explosives, aided by an armada of refueling tankers and fighter jets — some of which launched their own weapons. U.S. officials said Iran neither detected the inbound fusillade, nor mustered a shot at the stealthy American jets.

The operation relied on a series of deceptive tactics and decoys to maintain the secrecy, U.S. officials said hours after the attack, which was preceded by nine days of Israeli attacks that debilitated Iran's military leadership and air defenses.
A decoy plan...
Even before the planes took off, elements of misdirection were already in play. After setting parts of the plan in motion, Trump publicly announced Thursday that he’d make a decision within two weeks on whether to strike Iran — ostensibly to allow additional time for negotiations, but in actuality masking the impending attack.
One group of B-2 stealth bombers traveled west from Missouri on Saturday as decoys, drawing the attention of amateur plane spotters, government officials and some media as they headed toward a U.S. air base in the Pacific. At the same time, seven other B-2s carrying two “bunker buster” bombs apiece flew eastward, keeping communications to a minimum so as not to draw any attention.
Air Force Gen. Dan Caine, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said at Sunday's briefing that it was all "part of a plan to maintain tactical surprise” and that only “an extremely small number of planners and key leaders” knew about it in Washington and Florida, where U.S. Central Command is based.

After 18 hours of furtive flying that required aerial refueling, the armed B-2 Spirit bombers, each with two crew members, arrived on time and without detection in the Eastern Mediterranean, from where they launched their attack runs. Before crossing into Iran, the B-2s were escorted by stealthy U.S. fighter jets and reconnaissance aircraft.
A graphic released by the Pentagon showed the flight route as passing over Lebanon, Syria and Iraq. It was unclear whether those countries were notified of the U.S. overflight in advance. Most U.S. lawmakers were also kept in the dark, with some Republicans saying they were provided a brief heads-up by the White House before the strike.
“Our B-2s went in and out and back without the world knowing at all,” Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth told reporters Sunday.
A multifaceted attack.....
About an hour before the B-2s entered Iran, Caine said that a U.S. submarine in the region launched more than two dozen Tomahawk cruise missiles against key targets, including a site in Isfahan where uranium is prepared for enrichment.  As the U.S. bombers approached their targets, they watched out for Iranian fighter jets and surface-to-air missiles, but encountered none.
At 6:40 p.m. in Washington and 2:10 a.m. in Tehran, the first B-2 bomber dropped its pair of GBU-57 massive ordnance penetrators on the deeply buried Fordo uranium enrichment plant. It was the first time these so-called “bunker busters” had ever been used in combat. Each 30,000-pound bomb is designed to burrow into the ground before detonating a massive warhead.  The Fordo site received the bulk of the bombardment, though a couple of the enormous bombs were also dropped on a uranium enrichment site at Natanz.
The U.S. bombs fell for about half an hour, with cruise missiles fired from submarines being the last American weapons to hit their targets, which included a third nuclear site at Isfahan, Caine said.
A look at the numbers...The mission included:
— 75 precision-guided weapons: these included 14 GBU-57 “bunker buster” bombs deployed by the seven B-2 Spirit stealth bombers, and more than two-dozen Tomahawk cruise missiles launched from a U.S. submarine.
— 125 aircraft, including the B-2 bombers, fighter jets and refueling planes.
A female pilot...
Hegseth said Sunday that “our boys in those bombers are on their way home right now.”  But a U.S. official said one woman was among those piloting the B-2 bombers. The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak about the mission publicly.
A bit of history...Caine said the use of the bunker-buster bombs made the mission historic, as did other elements.   “This was the largest B-2 operational strike in U.S. history, and the second longest B-2 mission ever flown, exceeded only by those in the days following 9/11," he told reporters Sunday.

6-18-25  Conservative Commandos: FBI reports China mass produced fake U.S. driver’s licenses for purpose of voting fraud!!
FBI Director Kash Patel announced the declassification of documents alleging Chinese involvement in producing fraudulent driver’s licenses intended for fake mail-in ballots supporting President Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election. Mr. Patel made the announcement on X and immediately turned the documents over to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley for review.
The FBI intelligence report, originally from the Albany, New York field office and dated September 25, 2020, detailed concerns that Beijing mass-produced fake American driver’s licenses to influence the 2020 election through phony mail-in ballots. The report was subsequently recalled with instructions to destroy all copies and remove it from computer systems, reportedly to re-interview the source.
According to the allegations, the Chinese Communist Party planned to create voter identities for Chinese residents in the United States, enabling them to vote via fraudulent mail-in ballots supporting former President Biden. The FBI learned of this effort in August 2020, but intelligence reports were recalled for unspecified reasons. The plot allegedly involved manufacturing fake driver’s licenses and shipping them to the United States specifically to facilitate election fraud.
Sen. Grassley has requested additional documentation from the FBI, including records related to the report’s recall and re-interview process. He also questioned why former FBI Director Christopher Wray ordered the report’s destruction. The Iowa Republican had previously raised concerns about fake driver’s licenses in the 2020 election and pressed for further FBI investigation.
Customs and Border Protection data supports concerns about fraudulent documents, reporting 1,513 seizures containing fake documents in the first half of 2020, including nearly 20,000 counterfeit U.S. driver’s licenses at Chicago O’Hare International Airport. Most shipments originated from Hong Kong and China, with many licenses designed for college-age students. 
Some fake Michigan licenses were particularly sophisticated, featuring working barcodes.

Fliers associated with Saturday’s nationwide protests of President Trump were found in the car of a man accused of killing Minnesota’s former House speaker and her husband and wounding two others.  The Minnesota State Patrol warned residents to avoid “planned demonstrations” across the state Saturday, “out of an abundance of caution” as they hunt down the shooter. Police warned residents in the area not to open their doors for a cop impersonator as they hunt for the man they said is armed and dangerous.  Rep. Melissa Hortman, the former speaker of the Minnesota House, and her husband, Mark, were killed, Gov. Sen. John Hoffman and his wife Yvette, were shot multiple times in a separate attack by the same suspect and are undergoing surgery.

Donald Trump: ‘Paid insurrectionists’ are behind LA riots
“Paid insurrectionists” are behind the rioting in Los Angeles, Donald Trump claimed on Tuesday as another day of violence prompted officials to make it illegal to enter the city centre at night. The US president alleged that well-equipped “agitators” had been paid to cause chaos in the country’s second-biggest city, although he did not specify who was funding them or why.
He added that the 2,000 National Guard members and 700 US marines he had deployed to Los Angeles would remain in place until he decided it was safe.
Mr Trump’s intervention came on the fourth day of protests sparked by immigration raids, during which cars have been set alight and properties vandalised in downtown LA. Demonstrators – and journalists lawfully covering the protests – have been tear-gassed and shot by police with rubber bullets.
Violence and looting has has become such a concern that on Tuesday night Karen Bass, the mayor, announced that people would be banned from the city centre from 8pm until 6am local time.  Ms Bass said that an emergency had been declared and that a curfew was necessary to protect locals and businesses.
“Last night, there were 23 businesses that were looted and I think if you drive through down-town LA, the graffiti is everywhere and has caused significant damages to businesses and a number of properties,” she said.  “These are paid insurrectionists. These are paid troublemakers. They’re agitators. They’re paid,” Mr Trump told reporters in the Oval Office.  “Do you think somebody walks up to a kerb and starts hammering pieces out, has all the equipment necessary and starts handing it out to people to use as a weapon? These are paid insurrectionists or agitators or troublemakers.”

Walmart Heiress’ Anti-Trump Ad Ignites Huge MAGA Meltdown
A billionaire Walmart heiress sparked MAGA backlash in a surprise attack against President Donald Trump days before his big birthday bash in Washington D.C.  Christy Walton, 76, took out a full-page ad in the Saturday New York Times Sunday edition titled “USA, USA, USA,” promoting the “No Kings Day” June 14 events across the nation in protest of Trump’s policies.
Walton urged people to “mobilize” and “be civl,” and to get involved in the civil discourse by attending town halls. Additionally, a QR code took readers to a listings of “No Kings” events as Walton concluded the ad with, “The honor, dignity and integrity of our country is not for sale.”  The ad was praised by some but severely panned in MAGA social circles, inciting calls to boycott Walmart—a staple retail brand and employer across red states, Newsweek reported.
A Walmart spokesperson told Newsweek that Walton’s views are “no way connected to or endorsed by Walmart.” The spokesperson added, “She does not serve on the board or play any role in decision making at Walmart.”
Walton, who has a net worth of around $19.3 billion, is the widow of John Walton, the son of Walmart founder Sam Walton, who died in 2005. Walton first dipped her toe into politics back in March with another New York Times ad that read, “We honor our commitments and stand by our allies,” on the heels of Trump’s instigation of a trade war.

The family of Mohamed Sabry Soliman is being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement today following his arrest in connection with the firebomb attack that injured 12 people on Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall Sunday.  U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed the family’s detention in a post to X Tuesday afternoon. 
“Today the Department of Homeland Security and ICE are taking the family of suspected Boulder, Colorado terrorist, and illegal alien Soliman into ICE custody,” Noem said. “Mohamed’s despicable actions will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, but we’re also investigating to what extent his family knew about this horrific attack if they had any knowledge of it or provided any support to it.”
Federal and state authorities were continuing to investigate but had said Monday that Soliman’s wife and children were cooperative during a search of his home, and no criminal charges are pending against anyone other than Mohamed Soliman. His wife voluntarily turned in a mobile phone Soliman had left behind on Sunday, containing messages for his family. Soliman told police his family was not involved in his actions.
Soliman faces multiple counts of attempted murder and assault, and a federal hate crime count, with more charges likely to follow. He is being held in the Boulder County Jail in lieu of a $10 million bond.

The FBI will revisit three high-profile unsolved political mysteries, including who brought cocaine into the White House during the Biden administration.  The bureau will reopen or invest more resources into the cases that FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino said point to “potential public corruption.” In addition to the White House cocaine case, the FBI will take another look into who left a pair of undetonated pipe bombs at the Democratic National Committee and Republican National Committee headquarters on Jan. 5, 2021, and the leak of the draft Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe v. Wade in early 2022.  “Shortly after swearing in, [FBI Director Kash Patel] and I evaluated a number of cases of potential public corruption that understandably have garnered public interest.
