As conservatives prepare to go Target-free for June, it begs the question: how long will this go on? How long can it? Are people being inconsistent by refusing to shop at Target but continuing to shop at Walmart or Amazon? Or can we simply do the best we can with what we have to steward our money and resources?
I see both sides of the argument and have been/am on both sides, so I want to examine both sides of the discussion and see how we can all avoid error on both extremes of leaning too hard into "boycott or you're in sin" or "we don't have to do anything different ever" regardless of how corporations behave.
I think this is a valuable and important conversation for Christians to have, and it surely isn't the last time a corporation will serve a demonic agenda in this ever-present spiritual battle that wages on.
