Tim shares openly about the joys and struggles of carrying many responsibilities at once, and how faith has helped shape his priorities through it all.

In this episode, we look at the refining of faith through trials in 1 Peter 1, as Wyatt shares how his faith grew while serving in the Navy. We also talk about his life before the Navy and what lies ahead as he prepares for life after the Navy. Of course we close by looking at Wyatt’s favorite verse in Scripture. While many people in Washington are excited about their football team, I am excited about the lessons that can be learned from a football team. If something as trivial as a football team is getting this much consideration, what might that teach us about how we view and treat our church family? In this episode we look to Romans 12 and explore what it means to function as one body that is interconnected, dependent, and committed to one another. The church is far more than a team, but like teammates on the same field, we are called to consider one another so that the whole body can thrive.

Emily shares about her work as a research scientist in biochemistry and how her research has deepened her faith. We also talk about God’s faithfulness throughout their adoption journey, what life was like growing up in Arizona, and some of the passages of Scripture that have been especially meaningful to her.

We talk about Herman's journey as a chef, first in the Navy and later in the private sector, and the answered prayers along the way. Welcome to a new season of Consider One Another! In this first episode, we reflect on Isaiah 35 and the God who restores. Through the lens of Maddie’s work as an occupational therapist, we explore restoration, both physically and spiritually. We also talk about her upcoming transition into a new role as a traveling OT. We will certainly miss Maddie around here, but we’re grateful for the chance to hear some of her wisdom and her joy in this conversation.
