Too many people know about the Lost dutchman's gold mine, and not enough know about the tales and legends of the people that inhabited that land first. These are some of my favorite indigenous peoples' stories from a couple of the tribes that called these lands home.

The drink for the evening is a classic margarita with a dark and spicy twist. Replace the regular salt or sugar you'd normally put on the rim and use black lava salt, make yourself a simple jalapeno syrup, mix with tequila, lime, and a teensy bit of activated charcoal(food grade) and enjoy! Phoenix Lights Cocktail:

2oz Hendricks Gin(I use Flora Adora because I like the extra botanicals) that have had butterfly pea flowers steeped in until the color comes out.

2oz Lemon Simple Syrup

1oz Elderflower Soda

1 oz Vodka

In an old fashioned glass pour your simple syrup, soda, and voda and give a little stir. With a large spoon, pour the gin carefully on top of the lemon syrup so that it floats. If you want the fire in the sky, spritz ever clear on to the top of the drink and light. ***PLEASE EXTINGUISH FLAME BEFORE CONSUMING WE ARE NOT DRAGONS WE CANT DRINK FIRE!!!***
