  • Persecution: "American Midnight" - Political Pistachio Radio Revolution
"American Midnight" is a contemporary Christian political thriller that explores a possible future in the United States where the persecution of the church in America reaches a level similar to as it was in the Soviet Union. The Unity Party has used a platform of unity to sweep into power, but such an allegiance to unity comes at a price: complete and unquestioned loyalty to the party. Opposition to the party is met with arrest, especially when one refuses to abide by the secular nature of the party's agenda.
Authors Mike Lynch, and Brandon Barr, joins the Political Pistachio Radio Revolution tonight to discuss the frightening implications their novel suggests, and the fascinating parallels to the current power structure in Washington.

  • Guest Paul A. Ibbetson, Oliver's Tale - Political Pistachio Radio Revolution
Radio host & author Paul A. Ibbetson's "Oliver's Tale" is a delightful tale using social, political, & religious messages. Oliver experiences a spiritual growth in his relationship with God as he becomes privy to the secret plan of the Gray Skunk, a mesmerizing and dangerous foe. Following God's instructions, Oliver has an adventure in both the forest and city to save not only himself, but all that he holds dear. Oliver's Tale is the story of how one very average squirrel became a servant of God and led a revolution to save the animals of Three Fingers Cove. This book has several twists, including the "special power" of the book's adversary, the Gray Skunk, as well as his ability to control the most dangerous animals of the forest. Readers will be uplifted by this book as they will identify with Oliver's challenges, struggles, and victories as they mirror the daily challenges of life despite taking place in a fantasy world. Because Oliver is a cute little squirrel and such a likable character, his feats of courage throughout the story become even more amazing.
Paul A. Ibbetson is a former Chief of Police of Cherryvale, Kansas, and member of the Montgomery County Drug Task Force. Paul received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Criminal Justice at Wichita State University, and is currently completing his Ph.D. in Sociology at Kansas State University. Paul is the author of the books "Living Under The Patriot Act: Educating A Society" and "Feeding Lions: Sharing The Conservative Philosophy In A Politically Hostile World." Paul is also the radio host of the Kansas Broadcasting Association's 2008, 2009 and 2010 Entertainment Program of the Year, Conscience of Kansas airing on KSDB Manhattan 91.9 FM.

  • DiDiDawDawDiDi by Jim Horn guest appearance tonight - Political Pistachio Radio Revolution
Jim Horn is a career American Diplomat who served abroad for more than a quarter of a century, mostly in third-world countries, ten of those years in the Middle East where he came to really know and clearly understand true Islam far better than most. He has served as a Morse Code radio operator and a cryptographer in the U.S. Navy, as well with the State Department as a counter terrorism Project Manager, Embassy Security officer, and Vice Consul. He was specially selected and trained and was available world-wide to act as a hostage negotiator. Jim Horn has held the highest levels of TOP SECRET security clearances with code word access to compartmentalized intelligence. Among his many awards includes one of the Nation's highest civilian awards for Valor in Cambodia for rescuing wounded civilians from a bombed and burning building while under hostile fire in 1975. The title of the book is Morse Code shorthand for "Say it again, please?" or renditions thereof in the vernacular. Jim Horn is active in educating Americans about the true nature of Islam, private sector security, and has consulted with law enforcement. Portions of his book were redacted by the Central Intelligence Agency and the Department of State. This version retains its pre-redacted integrity and character - and tonight Jim Horn joins the Political Pistachio Radio Revolution to discuss his book, "honest" Muslims, and America's role in confronting the madness.
