Welcome to our Christmas episode! We don't talk much about Christmas, but we have a damn good time! Q talks about his idea for the ultimate advent calendar, and a bit of the seshuan sauce debacle. The topic of Mantel comes up, which is a band manned by Nick, Byron and Sean, and the fact that they have two singles that you can get from ITunes, "No Tariff" and our newest release, "Manifesto" out as of Christmas! We then get into a lot of Quentin Tarantino talk, stemming from the fact that he might write a Star Trek movie. We then end up getting into great bad films, including a surprisingly heated argument as to which movie is better: The Rock, or Face Off. Follow Mantel on Twitter @MantelRocks, Subscribe and leave 5 stars with text on iTunes for a shout out, and follow us on Twitter @CCriticismBlog and like our Facebook page Facebook.com/CCriticism. Its Nick, Cameron and Q again as we begin asking for sponsorship yet again, this time we set our sights on Francis Box wine. We then get to the most incredible( or potentially horror movie esq) "Sex island" carribian cruise. And where would we be if we brought up poorly conceived carribian vacations without mentioning the Ja Rule "Fire Festival". We talk about Justice League and Superman's insane upper lip. We get into Sex and the City 2 again, and I'm sorry Shelley Duvall, again, and fe end with a scream. Again. Welcome back gents and germs! This week we start off with the latest in sexual assault allegations, before shifting somehow to music. While talking about Korn, Cameron suddenly transforms into Tiny Tim, and Tom Waits. We then move on to porn, and the most geniously titled video on pornhub. We then watch my anus in an intense fight. We end up getting back to music, laying praise on the Alice Cooper concert experience, Dio, Black Sabbath, and how annoyed Cameron gets by the song Iron Man. Finally, at long last the MyPillow update!! Spoiler alert: it sucks. As far as sponsors, since Modelo has yet to respond, what say you Newcastle Brown Ale? Greeting listeners, do you like sexual assault?(The answer is no) Neither do we, but apparently a number of celebrities, politicians, and Hollywood power players do! We talk about that some on this episode, and we also give a shout out to a great podcast that you should check out called Life Bytes. We also get into Byron and Cameron's Jigsaw review, before we begin shamelessly pandering for sponsorship. Hit us up Modelo Especial! This week we have a chat about George Orwell, or was it Orson Welles... Then we talk a bit of Zack Snyder, which oddly leads to a discussion of great book to movie adaptations. Speaking of George Orwell, 1984 comes up, but not the book, the year. in film. We also get into a very strange story about a potential sonic weapon being used on US agents in Cuba. We also tease an upcoming Haloween special! This week we discuss old awesome movies, get more in depth on the new adaptation of Stephen King's "IT", and have joker gas style laughig fits over out of context lines from the classic american novel, Fifty Shades of Grey. Bonus episode time! One of our longest podcasts in a while too, so sit back, relax, and listen to the soothing sounds of Nick, Cameron and Q as we discuss way more than we intended to. It was going to be a Stephen King centric episode, and though we do get to that, and IT specifically, we go through a whole lot more. From plagiarism to how shitty the Die Hard sequel titles are, we pretty much hit everything BUT our intended topic until toward the end. Enjoy! This week we get a bit highbrow to start things off, having conversations of the culinary arts as well as classical music( roll over Beethoven... in your grave because we're talking about you.). Things inevitably shift to the darker sides of life, including a story about a man and his dog that you won't soon forget, no matter how hard you try.
