Contagion Effect

We had the opportunity to have a great conversation with Ryan & Samara from COMBAT VETERANS MOTORCYCLE ASSOCIATION 33-2 out of Stockton, Ca.  They shared the great things CVMA is doing for  local veterans and their families.  Both Ryan & Samara explained how this amazing group of veterans is working tirelessly to get veterans off the streets.  We learned the darkness of how mental health is such a weight on some of these veterans and Samara shared a great idea on normalizing talking about our feelings from a very young age.  By doing this we can better attack the Mental Health problem we have in our Country! We also learned how this group of veterans raises money to make veteran families that need a little extra help during the holidays, a bit better.  Thank you Ryan & Samara for sharing the CVMA 33-2 story!  Keep fighting for those men and women that served our country and have been forgotten!

We are back after some vacation and started off by celebrating Eric's birthday with a little surprise video.  Lucky enough to have some of his family and past guests join us in wishing him a happy birthday.  This week we changed it up a little, our guest wasn't a veteran.  We did however talk about some struggles and making life work when you have a child.   Nate Sisneros joined us and shared some of his life experiences and how he has navigated them.

We are excited to have Stacey and Dave from 22 Mohawks join us this week.  22 Mohawks is an organization who is helping veterans to slow down and hopefully end veteran suicides.  If you know someone that needs to hear a positive message, this will be a great show to watch/listen to.  We were able to learn about Dave's service time of 16 years in the US Army.  Learned how Dave and Stacey knew each other growing up and how Dave starting his campaign of awareness around Veteran suicides brought them back together.  This helped start up 22 Mohawks and the team has hit the ground running from there.  Check out their website and Social Media below.

Wow, what a show!  You have to listen to Marine Corp Veteran Rudy Molina share his story with us.  Rudy is a Vietnam Veteran  who did two tours in Vietnam in the late 60's.  What caught our attention with Rudy was his clearing up the story of the firefight that happened on January 20, 1968.  This situation was highlighted in the movie Born on the 4th of July.  Rudy told his version of what happened that day in his book "The 13 Unsung Heroes"  This is a must read and you can link to it below.

Rudy also shared the story of our veterans who served and have been deported to Mexico.  With this happening they cannot get their VA benefits.  These are men and women who fought for the US and their thank you is being sent to Mexico.  All of them here legally when they joined, some drafted and some enlisted themselves.  He shared the organization All Relations United, who is also trying to help these veterans, links below for them.

Had the pleasure of speaking to this young veteran Alundas Havens.  He shared his time in the Marine Corp and times in Kuwait and Miramar.  Learned how his time in the Marines helped him see good vs bad leadership and molded him in to the person he is now.

After getting out of the Marines, he did some odd jobs, but eventually ended up connected with a great group of people which helped him form his Winners Paradigm podcast, where he talks to other entrepreneurs and how they have grown.  Along with his time at Alpha Influence Media as the CEO.
