In this episode I interview marketing and podcasting powerhouse, Michelle Vroom. Michelle is a business coach with more than 15 years of marketing & PR experience with nonprofits, agencies, and big corporations. Now she helps small business owners grow to 6-figures with more freedom and peace. Michelle believes every woman entrepreneur should be able to get clients whenever she wants. She understands the challenges of limited resources and time, and shares her proven methods for visibility and relationship building to get clients and grow your business.

While I was preparing for Michelle to come on the podcast, one of the topics that was sent over was “how to overcome limiting beliefs that keep you from showing up and getting visible.” And I instantly knew that’s what I wanted us to talk about. 

I don’t know about you, but I really struggle with limiting beliefs. Actually, this entire year, I’ve been trying to break free of the many limiting beliefs that I have about myself and my capabilities. If you’re like “yeah girl, I know what you’re talking about” then you’re going to get a lot out of this episode. If you’ve never heard of limiting beliefs or aren’t really sure what they are, we’ll get into that in our episode too, because you might find that you have been experiencing limiting beliefs already and now you’ve got a name for them.

Michelle shares some really tangible ways to overcome any limiting belief that you have about yourself and she shares some instances in her own life where she had to really work to overcome the limiting beliefs that she had for herself and how overcoming them made the biggest difference in her life. I wanted to talk about something that I’ve been really struggling with lately. To me, I feel like it’s the biggest enemy to my confidence— it’s my inner critic and intrusive thoughts.

When you hear Rubi Skilton's story,  "confidence" is one of the first things that comes to mind which is why she's the perfect guest to kick off Season 3 of this podcast.

Rubi is a podcast producer, audio expert, limb difference advocate, speaker, and entrepreneur. Being born with a physical difference could have positioned Rubi’s life to go in a different direction. She could’ve fallen into the victim mentality and lived a life of “I wish I could…” but she used her difference as fuel to become successful and impact others.
