Nostalgic of the Techno of the nineties, passionate by this time that saw the birth of a rough Techno, purified and incisive, Birth of Frequency aims ,through music, at the expression of certain thoughts and abstract feelings. First ( and always ) a D.J., the live is the best way for him of materializing his vision of the Techno "in a transitory way" .He daily questions himself in order to deliver services and productions increasingly more personal and refined. His music, simple and" innocent" is the picture of his character. Polegroup, Construct Re-Form, Enemy or else Granulart Ltd, as many renowned labels that have opened up to him so that he could express himself and make his music evolve. Each record is in interaction with the others . They each bring a part of the story that Birth of Frequency wants to tell.

More than a passion, a work, music is a life style for him.

As a recently emerging artist, Rommek has shown promising developments in his own

sound, as well as carving his way into the current techno scene. His extensive interest in

sound design is embedded within the atmospheric, murky and textured tracks he

produces. The London based producer released his debut 'Thought Patterns EP' on

Weekend Circuit. This helped to establish his position on the map. Since then, various

releases on Sonntag Morgen or Dyad have proven his wide appeal through the

combination of the energetic, gritty UK sound combined with deep and transcendental

aspects.

In 2016 Rommek joined the iconic Blueprint Records, with his EP ‘Moth Hole’, plus

contributed to the 20 years ‘Structures and Solutions’ compilation. From this he gained a

wide range of noteworthy support and became established within the blueprint family.

Following up with his second solo EP, Arcane; he experimented with new sound pallets

and continued to push his creativity, whilst exploring new depths.

Whilst being a resident for the promoters Dazed and Confuzed and Loose Lips, plus part

of the Urbanum booking agency, Rommek can be often found DJing across Europe and

beyond.

To New York City’s dance floors, the name Katie Rex, is a familiar mainstay. With roots beginning in the Philadelphia rave scene, her passion for the underground has crossed genre boundaries and culminated into an in-depth knowledge of music and cultural trends after dark. Inspired by the classic sounds of Detroit & Chicago as well as the hammering influence of EBM and invigorating sounds of dance music’s contemporaries, she curates a unique blend of dark acid bass lines with club inspired drum patterns into harsh industrial.

Born in 1977, spreading the disease since 1997.

Former member of ADSR SPQR, Assalti Industriali, B A L A N C E, Lunar Lodge, Der Noir, Divus.

Sound engineer at Subsound studio in Roma, Italy.

Authentic maverick, or better said, a free beater.

His core values can be summarised in a handfull of key words: experimentation, analog synths, vinyl and love for techno.

From South to North, from raves to clubs, with a constant desire to have fun and grasp the right occasions, his career has become distinct due to its unconformity with the established norms.

As sound engineer, dj, producer and remixer, he never turned down an opportunity of adding his personal touch in his and other’s tracks; initiating fruitful collaborations by injecting some of his essence in various projects such as Techno Mobil Squad, Assalti Industriali, Der Noir and Lunar Lodge. He’s an active participant of the Italian collective of artists known as LSWHR.

In 2015 the B A L A N C E project comes to light - a conceptual exhibition based on improvisation through the use of modular synthesizers, formed together with Davide Ricci.

In 2017 together with Luca T. Mai (Zu) release the album DIVUS, published by Boring Machines.

In the same year together with famous tattoo artist Luca Mamone give birth to ADSR SPQR, a tribute to the 90's rave scene focused on hard techno.

He has made dozens of releases on such labels as Scuderia, Kobayashi/Dancefloor Killers, Earache, Industrial Strength/Hard Electronic, Mokum, Lux Rec/MRT, No Pizza Rave, Agonia, Boring Machines, Karl Records, Love Blast, Subsound Records above all.

His strength thus lies in the puzzle of sounds which is the fruit of the most desperate of experiences from techno, punk, industrial, wave and electronic - all of which are knowledgeably tessellated through the art of improvisation.

Chris was born in 1987 in the outskirts of Ulm, Germany.

As an infant of only 12 years old, he first got in touch with music. At the age of 20, Chris visited a DJ school in Ulm, where he digged deep into a world of vinyl, literally learning the real Djing.

Soon, he got his first gigs in clubs and also grew fast for bigger venues and succeeded getting his first jobs on festivals such as SEMF festival in Stuttgart, Germany.

Chris used to work as a resident DJ at Zollamt, a Techno club in Stuttgart and got also booked for the legendary "Tresor" in Berlin and a whole bunch of more cities like Basel Switzerland, Cologne, Duesseldorf, Freiburg, Nuernberg, Heilbronn, Ulm and on and on.

As a producer, Chris published his music on labels such as Wall Music, Counter Pulse, Neuhain, Blackrod, De-Konstrukt and MONOTON:audio where he also works as an A&R manager.

Formerly known under the live duo alias, Casual Affair, a project recognised throughout London for its signature rolling fluidity and acidic beats, Øliver has a history of electronic music in his blood. In 2016, he took the decision to focus on a self-titled solo project with an evolved musical direction.

Raised in an environment with a father as a musician, Øliver was inevitably immersed in music from a young age. These musical beginnings were founded around a deep taste for heavy sounding Metal and melancholic genres. Evident in his recent sets and recordings, these prior sounds are playing an influential role in Øliver’s new musical scope. In 2017, the intentions become clear, a style of sound focused around the emerging post-punk movement, whilst retaining a solid home within the techno field.

A key figure in the London techno community, Øliver also holds a residency at Grey Matter, an experimental night started by Grea Area Agency in 2015, providing the capital with a distinct and selective stream of international and home-grown artists'. Alongside his appearances across London’s spaces, work on a debut EP has emerged, set to embody this bold new chapter.

Metaphore Collectif’s founding member, programmer and real activist of Marseille’s alternative scene, Shlagga claims a DIY and sincere approach. Very concerned by the values ​​of the original rave culture and by the importance of communing to challenge, Shlagga is part of its DJ’s who don’t make music only for the love of Art but to spread a message intended to reunite. Also, he’s not afraid to take risks in his sets: exploring the mazes of industrial music he likes to mix dark atmospheres, tribal rhythms and post-punk influences. By pursuing the initiative to break down the standards that separate electronic music, it proposes a cathartic experience and always surprising.

Originally from Poland Monya has been based in Berlin for over a decade now. With her uncompromising live sets she built herself a reputation quickly and has been playing since then all over the world.

In 2013 she released her first album and in 2014 she started her own label ‘Corresponding Positions’, where she releases her own music but also constantly supports new faces to the scene by putting out their fresh and powerful sounds. For her own productions it’s obvious that her biggest passion is industrial techno, although she never sticks to one particular style, but loves to try out different approaches and experiment with sounds. With her enthusiasm for electronic music she continuously learns and grows every day. Cristian Marras is an exciting DJ/Producer, based in Berlin who has slowly been working his way through clubs in Berlin, Italy, Spain and Holland.

He plays solid driving contemporary Techno, creating raw, fast changing atmospheres, mixing together multiple layers, swinging from a instrumental hypnotic sound to hard grooving, acid drops ending often to industrial direction.

Showing good knowledge of the genre for someone so new in the scene, Cristian discovered his passion for electronic music during the last years of high school in east coast of USA where he started to interest himself to the first and second generation of Detroit Electronic Producers.

Once back in Italy Cristian started to hang out around some of the most well known Italian clubs that were hosting techno events getting in contact with artists and promoters and he started to host events himself in his home town in Sardegna bringing local artist and promoting electronic music.

Since the last 5 years C.M dedicated himself to improve his knowledge studying electronic music production and sound design collaborating with other musicians and attending Dbs music university in Berlin.

After moving to the German capital Cristian started to make his first steps in the underground scene of the city, hosting his own event (Urban Tech) and performing several gigs alongside some well known artist like Dave Clarke, Ancient Methods, Freddy K, Marco Bailey, P.E.A.R.L., Max Durante, Radial, VSK, Defekt, Kobosil and many others.

Since the last 3 years Cristian performed several gigs in different countries in clubs like: Tresor, Suicide Circus, About Blank, Arena, Griessmuehle, (Berlin); Sutdio 76, Pirandello Club (Madrid); ADE festival (Amsterdam); Trax Club (Vigo); Saponeria Club, (Rome); Ickarus Club, (Firenze) ecc. Cristian had released from 2015 till today on the following labels: 2RB - Records, Rituals Records, Advanced Black and Limited G.
