Hello everyone and welcome to the Contend for the Faith Podcast. My name is Abby and this is a Christian podcast where we are going to get into the nitty gritty faith questions you may have been wondering about.

Contend for the Faith comes from the book of Jude where Jude writes that he is "compelled to write and urge [the early church] to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people". There were a lot of false doctrines and false teachings circulating at that time and he urged the church to hold onto the true doctrines of the faith. And that is what I'm also aiming to do with this podcast. We are going to dissect doctrine, examine early church history, explore criticism of the church, and study how to apply the scriptures to our own lives. So, join me every Thursday so together we can Contend for the Faith.
