Atlantic Threads is an initiative led by Pivô in partnership with African Artists’ Foundation (Dig Where You Stand), and Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. This project prologue was supported by the Embassy of France in Brazil, and the Institut Français, in the framework of the Brazil-France Season 2025. The artists were welcomed in Paris as part of the « Institut français x Cité internationale des arts » residency program.Anne-Lise Agossa is an Abidjan and London-based designer whose practice spans art, architecture and design. Rooted in the complex relationship between culture and space, Anne-Lise’s practice is focused on bridging the gap between past and future, within and around the African context. Particularly influenced by the geo-cultural landscape of West Africa, the Sahel, Central Sahara and their material and oral traditions.
