Things get off to a great start on this week's podcast, as for the first five minutes, we're joined by a special guest who picks the five winners of our Mother's Day On Coronation Street competition! That's followed by a discussion of all things Corrie between the 19th and the 23rd February, which, thankfully, we were feeling a lot more positive about compared to last week! From Aidan and Carla's kidney transplant to Nicola's ruptured appendix, there were a few times where we actually felt concerned for a character's safety, but it was the quiet, character-driven two-hander moments that really shone out for us: if we could have a few more scenes like Roy and Johnny on a bench or Jenny and Kevin sharing a beer, we'd be very happy podcasters.
