It's a wrap... In this episode we discuss the conclusion of Ashley's SoulCycle journey and how she emerged as a more authentic and vocal human. We also discuss and challenge what allyship actually looks like as we exit one of the most heart wrenching and introspective times of our lives.

Sometimes our best self is hidden under stereotypes, rationalizations and false perceptions that serve to filter our true identity. Breaking through requires us to not just dig deep but also, first, recognize that who we are has less to do with the "snapshots" and more to do with all of the moments in between.
Conversations in Courage is where we lean into transformation, leadership, and social justice. If this episode moved you, share it with a friend and leave a review so more people can join us.

We recount the past 8 weeks in terms of Ashley completing her 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training in the unique context of quarantine and the trauma of Racial Injustice happening all around our country. In this two part episode, we explore what it means to be both teacher and student, the humility of being a beginner and unpacking the way white privilege pervades every space that we occupy.

Today, Ashley began a 6-week series of Courage Campaign workshops with 5th and 6th graders from Alexander Twilight Academy here in Boston. In discussing courage and fear, the students shared insights on race and religious symbolism, further emphasizing our need to put aside partisan politics and care for our nation’s youth.
