Meet Senior Girl Scout Aaliyah Smith, Saturday, October 10, at 3:00  P.M. (EST) as we explore her passion to drive change by helping families  address food insecurity and income inequality.

The Girl Scout  Gold Award is the highest award that a Girl Scout can earn. The  leadership, organizational skills, and sense of community and commitment  that come from “going for the Gold” will evolve this young lady into an  amazing leader by changing the world.

We have been part of all elements of #hiphop since we were kids. We have used Hip-Hop to bring change in social, political, and economic institutions in most cities of US and North America. We have used Hip-Hop to lead many to the Lord and also as a platform to mentor the next generation of leaders. 

God has given us sound teachers so that we could be sound as we mentor people in every state and around the world.

We  often wonder why the younger generation have taken a change in  direction from the older generations belief system as is evident in  their interpersonal communication behavior. They are more assertive,  honest, upfront, and forthright as compared to the older generation who  continue to respect the power differentials. Communication is always  evolving. No matter what country, the meaning and interpretation will  change as humans change.

Our nation’s African American community is going through an extremely painful experience, pain that has been inflicted upon this community repeatedly throughout history and is magnified by mass media and repeated deaths. While there is much we need to do to address racism in our country, we must not forget the importance of mental health.

We  focus so much on adults.  Let’s take a break and understand what the  kids are facing during this pandemic. What’s more important we actually  have someone who tested positive and is recovering from Covid-19.
