NO NEED TO FRET ABOUT REGRET
Focus Scripture:
Philippians 4:6-7GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)
6 Never worry about anything. But in every situation let God know what you need in prayers and requests while giving thanks. 7 Then God’s peace, which goes beyond anything we can imagine, will guard your thoughts and emotions through Christ Jesus.
When was the last time that you messed up? Made a mistake? Commited a sin again?
Of course I know you Neighbors are perfect. So no not y'all yourself. Okay I guess a better inquiry would have been when is the last time one of your Neighbors did those things? Now remember our Neighbors are simply our (Family/Friends [that includes strangers that we have not met yet 2]), This could have been your wife/husband; your children; your BFF, your Spiritual Advisor, Sister So&So(Brother So&So), etc. They have something that they are worried about that they did that could come back to bite them. If they reached out to you I am sure that you consoled them by telling that there is no need to worry about what you can do nothing about. In fact you could have and should have shared the above Scripture with them. I also hope you shared with them some solid counsel (advice) for the next time they are faced with a situation that could have them back at the same point of fretting and regretting: Matthew 6:33
Now truth be told all of us at some point has done or will do something that we regret. Moreover, we have all probably fretted over regretting. I shake my head while remembering some circumstances of my own. I would hope that after this week's Podcast of ThePorch2 that you will be less likely to continue to commit senseless and sinful acts that you then turn around and fretfully regret. We hope that the concept of thinking before you speak; thinking before you do; and thinking before you decide not to do what you should do will lead you to seek GOD for how to and when to speak, do or not do. Your decision to do so will lead you to have a more peaceful, joyful and prosperous life. We hope that this Podcast will cause you to want to continue studying about this good news that can only come by way of JESUS CHRIST. Today's Study Scripture(s) are Matthew 6:27-32 ESV/Luke 12:25-32 GW. Ask yourself the question and if the answer is No then you want to study and adopt the wise counsel that is offered.
We love that you come and visit with us on ThePorch2 Podcast but the goal is more than that. We want you to be compelled after your visit to start and continue #DoingSpecialThings (1 Special Thing at a Time) that will uplift you and others. So we are giving you what some refer to as a Homework Assignment(s) and what we were led to call Life Assignment(s) in our Moving Into The Rhythm Of Your Li fe Workshops and Training Sessions. That being said, your Life Assignment that will yield you less reasons to fret or find yourself needing to regret is found in 1 Corinthians 13:11 (stop acting like a child; childish).
