Title: Spiritually Praying: How and Why

26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. 27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because[a] the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
How often have you been told to pray? How many times have you said to yourself I need to pray? Most everyone has heard the scripture that says, "Pray without ceasing." But should a person just pray for the sake of praying? Is praying just something to do? Of course we have even shared Podcasts on Praying but tonight's rings a little different in that it shares about Praying In The Spirit.
Prayer is an act of communication with God where you talk to GOD and you remain in communication for GOD to talk to you. So many believe that Prayer is just a religious activity to make one feel better about life and its situations.
Prayer can and often does make you feel better but it is so much more than that. Now those that fail to hear from GOD often see it as another chore that they are required to do to be spiritual or religious. And of course for those that don't believe there is a GOD, the belief is that Prayer is a waste of time.
Praying in the Spirit or Spiritually Praying - I am not here to try to tell you the mechanics of what that means or what that sounds like. Why? Because according to the Focus Scriptures above, the HOLY SPIRIT has a much better handle or ability to do that than I ever can. But I invite you to read and meditate on the shared scriptures; and you will be to answer the questions yourself of how do I Pray in the Spirit and why do I want to Pray in the Spirit.
I am challenging each Neighbor who is listening to this ThePorch2 Podcast to start Praying In The Spirit (Spiritually Praying). You can start alone. Then you can ask other members of your household to join you. Then you can ask your Neighbors in your Community, Church, City, County (Burroughs/Parish), etc., to join you. We should learn to not just pray our needs or even the needs of another but we should learn to pray based on what the Holy Spirit tells us to Pray.
