E51 (8/21/17) Full Armor: Belt of Truth

In “Turn to God with Carin,” Carin Jayne Casey reiterated the need for putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-24) so we can stand when the enemy comes, in spiritual warfare all around us. Concentration in this segment is on The Belt of Truth (v. 14).

Casey shared that a soldier’s belt holds their weapon (a sword), strips of leather to protect the body, and secures the entire armor. This is how extremely important Truth is to us. Truth is God’s word, where we find the Ten Commandments, The Great Commandments, the Salvation message, and so much more. We need to know Truth and be ready for when the enemy attacks or tempts us in our daily lives. Please join Casey in this podcast for valuable information as we pursue Truth.

Thy Kingdom Come: In Heaven and on Earth

What is a Kingdom? What is the Kingdom of GOD (Heaven)? How many of us believers really understand about the Kingdom and the business of the Kingdom​

We are familiar with Queen Elizabeth. We all remember Princess Diana. And of course we see the current Princes in the media. But for most of us Believers who are native to the United States of America, what do we really know about Kingdgom Living? That question can be asked of Believers everywhere whose allegiance is not attached to a Kingdom. How many of us truly understand the meaning of Kingdom? Our role in the Kingdom? How the Kingdom plays a role in our life now and our life to come?

Of course one episode of ThePorch2 will not make you an expert on the subject of Kingdom but what we hope it will cause you to really examine your understanding of the whole concept. We hope that it will cause you to want to engage in studying about this part of The Gospel of JESUS CHRIST.
