19-20 We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go. It’s an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances right to the very presence of God where Jesus, running on ahead of us, has taken up his permanent post as high priest for us, in the order of Melchizedek.
Is Your Soul Anchored? How many of us know our Soul is anchored in The LORD?
If you had a boat, would you just leave it floating next to the pier? Would you leave it floating in the middle of the water unanchored? Chances are you would not. How much more important is your Soul and why would you leave its security to chance? You may say that your soul can be anchored by something other than GOD himself. You may say that your Soul doesn't need to be anchored at all. The very essence of who you are is in your Soul. Now that you realize this, will you make sure your Soul is anchored? More importantly will you make sure that your Soul is anchored in The LORD?
After last week you probably have thought more about the anchoring of your Soul. If you didn't tune-in to last week's message (Part I), we invite you to download it and get those nuggets of wisdom to be added to this week's nuggets. To review there are three parts to a boat anchor: anchor, chain and the line. During this episode we will share information about the last three (3) of the six (6) links in the chain.
