He is the founder of Bootkik and KnowHow, where he has built a team focused on an operations and project management tool used by growing Blue Collar service companies to predict profitable outcomes and improve decision making.
Leighton's background includes 7 years in executive leadership with College Pro, where he was responsible for over $40MM in revenue. He got his start in entrepreneurship with the founding of LTX Trades Ltd. in 2005, where he won dozens of awards and set records as one of the most successful franchise owners in College Pro's 40+ years in operation.
Leighton is an expert trainer, facilitator and speaker on the topics of entrepreneurship, team formation, organizational culture, productivity, operations & performance management and leadership development. He is an active mentor at multiple business accelerators and has played a key role in the development of over 400 entrepreneurs. He has also advised members of the Canadian Parliament and Legislative Assembly of Alberta and has served on advisory boards and leadership committees.
