Tanjit is an experienced communication, government relations and not-for-profit professional with a history of working in the public service industry.   

Tanjit began her career in public service as the president of the University of Manitoba Student's Union (UMSU) where she oversaw a multimillion-dollar organization, its endowment fund and operations of 7 businesses while serving as the spokesperson and advocate for over 24,000 undergraduate students.  

Tanjit then dipped her toes in provincial politics when she ran for MLA (Member of the Legislative Assembly) as the Liberal candidate in the Fort Richmond area at the age of 23!  

Tanjit is now the manager of Grants Administration & Grantee Supports at TakingITGlobal, one of the worlds leading networks of young people working towards tackling global challenges.
