The great and legendary Lou Barlow joins Dwyer to talk share his thoughts on the shows his children watch, the chatter in his head, the greatness of Biggie Smalls, and the awkwardness of Zoom. This is a great conversation and 100 percent how I like a show to unfold with unexpected turns and subject matter.

Pinc Louds is a New York based band that cut it's chops busking in the subways on the streets of New York City. Front-Person Claudi Love joins Dwyer in a hilarious and great conversations sharing tales of her youth performing street theater in Puerto Rico, the pull to move to New York City, how karate chops help in the competitive world of street busking, and fighting the gentrification of NYC to revitalize the art scene. I have been a fan of Fake Fruit since the first second I heard "No Mutuals." This fandom grew when I heard the entire album and it is easily one of my favorite records thus far in 2021. I was thrilled when Hannah "Ham" D'Amato agreed to be on the podcast. We talk about her youthful days hating theater classes, singing on the National Anthem Circuit, begging to get into shows when she was not old enough for 21 and over shows, the evolution of Fake Fruit and her mutual aid group work with unhoused people.

Read more about Landback: All funds raised will go towards repatriating land back to Indigenous communities and to support the LandBack movement, to continue the acquisition of land titles for Indigenous nations to have legal standing under U.S.law to protect traditional territories. The LandBack movement is a regenerative, sustainable effort to center Indigenous knowledge and repair damages done to land and all people living here. The impacts of invasion, colonization, settlement and forced assimilation continue to have multi-generational impact upon us all. These impacts are varied, they are experienced differently and disproportionately, evident on the land and water, the changing climate and ecosystems. Reparations for what has been forcibly taken from Indigenous Nations must be grounded in ceding land; to end occupation and begin coexistence, with Indigenous leadership, to return to healthy and regenerative relationship with land.
