Conversations with Jeff

A while back, Tim Hurd of Bible Thumping Wingnut sent me a podcast of his to listen to, where he attacked James White for having Dr Michael Brown on his show. JD Hall also spent quite a bit of time attacking Dr White for having Dr Brown on, claiming that he was “Elephant Rooming” Dr Brown… a reference to the time when James MacDonald and Mark Driscoll had TD Jakes on their show The Elephant Room to give him credibility as a legit pastor that should be taken seriously within the church. However, when I actually listened to the Dividing Line and the conversations between Dr Brown and Dr White, I was sorely disappointed in the characterization of what happened from both Mr Hurd and Mr Hall. This podcast is my take on all of this.

In this episode of The GateKeepers Radio Show, Jeff Dornik continues his study of Matthew 23. We see Jesus confronting the Religious Elite for figuring out ways to not have to keep their word. They would prioritize oaths based on what they made the oath on. Instead, Jesus said to simply let your yes be yes and your no be no. Be men and women of your word. We recently saw an example of this in Phil Johnson's oath to permanently delete his Twitter account, only to turn around and choose to go back on his word and keep it, carrying on as if nothing happened. The Evangelical Elite are the modern day Pharisees, and comparing Jesus' indictment on them to the church today, you'll see the comparisons are uncanny.

Pastor Sam Jones hosts this podcast featuring Jeff Dornik as the guest to discuss some of the controversies that are continually brought up by the same old Twitter mob. While a lot of this pertains to his relationship with Carl Crew, who was actually the very first guest on CWJ, the discussion turns to the theological implications of justification & sanctification, evangelism and even church discipline. The important thing about this conversation is that we can disagree and have different convictions, but we should still be able to talk it out like brothers & sisters in Christ without attempting to destroy each other, as so many have done.

During this episode of Conversations with Jeff, JD Rucker comes on to discuss the current state of the conservative movement and Republican Party. There's a huge concern with how far left the Democrats have gone, so the question JD and Jeff try to answer is how do we respond? How do we handle censorship from the big tech companies like Twitter, Google, Youtube, Facebook and Instagram?

JD Rucker is the Editor in Chief for NOQ Report, a conservative news website that has hard hitting articles.

During this episode of Conversations with Jeff, Sam Jones comes on the podcast to discuss Social Justice & how it's infiltrated the church. Jeff & Sam discuss how the pietism of John MacArthur created a vacuum for the progressives to fill with their Social Justice propaganda, which has led to where we are today. Now that Social Justice has taken over the church, where do we go from here? Sam and Jeff tackle some of these vitally important topics.

Sam Jones is a pastor in Iowa, as well as the co-host of The Shining Light Podcast on The GK Podcast Network.

In this episode of The Jeff Dornik Podcast, Jeff takes a look at the important issue of Social Justice. Last year, there was the Social Justice Statement that was drafted and signed by many within the Reformed Camp.

In this episode of The GateKeepers Radio Show, Jeff Dornik continues his study of Matthew 23. We see Jesus confronted the religious elite of His day, calling out their hypocrisy and legalism. Today, many of the evangelical leaders are behaving just as the Pharisees did. Thus, leads us to the question: What would Jesus do?
