  • Richard Cohen, Husband of Meredith Vieira, Talks About His Book "I Want To Kill The Dog"
It's a tongue in cheek book about "Jasper" the dog's devotion to Richard's wife Meredith. I think Richard kind of describes it a a romance between Meredith and Jasper. No one is really allowed to kiss Meredith, especially Richard, without Jasper looking on with his discerning eye of judgment.
It's a fun read for anyone who feels like they are second or third or fourth place to the furry creatures of the house.
By the way, Richard really does love that dog!

  • Former Mafia Boss Phil Leonetti, Who Was Responsible For Getting John Gotti & Others Put In Jail, Phil's Book is Mafia Prince
**********This interview was given to me by Phil Leonetti, under restricted conditions to protect his privacy and safety*****************
It's not often that you have an opportunity to talk to someone who is still living in protective custody, under an assumed name, working a 9-5 job somewhere, with a past that no one was aware of until now. It's not often one gets the opportunity to talk to a hit man, a killer who has admitted to killing at least 9 people.
His name is Phil Leonetti, a former member of one of America's most violent crime family's. He is the nephew of Little Nicky Scarfo, of La Cosa Nostra fame, who is still in prison now because of Phil's testimony when he turned state's evidence. John Gotti and Vincent Gigante along with a number of other mob members are all in prision because of what Phil said under oath. His Uncle Nicky has a $500,000 dollar bounty on his nephews head. The mafia has a long memory and the guys that Phil "put away" have a long memory, and a number of them were just paroled from prison recently.
Phil's story is about what his life was like back in the day that he too was a member of the mafia. He has admitted to killing at least 9 people, 9 "hits". I asked him a lot of questions about his life back then, and his life now, and what exactly the future might hold. I also wondered what it was like to know he took the life of nine people.
How can a man turn states evidence against the mob and still be walking around today? Find out how...
Here's Phil's Story...the book is called Mafia Prince.
Get the book on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Mafia-Prince-Inside-Americas-Violent/dp/0762445831/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1355425918&sr=8-1&keywords=mafia+prince

  • The Rat Pack's, Dean Martin, Has A Daughter, Deana Martin. She Shares Some Fun Memories & Inside Stuff
Dean Martin has a daughter, Deana Martin, obviously his namesake. She has a musical career of her own but she wanted to talk to me about the old days, her dad, Uncle Frank, (Sinatra that is), and Uncle Sammy, (yup, Sammy Davis Jr.), and Dean Martin, (her daddy).
Deana was so much fun to talk to, hearing about her dad's image as a womanizer and boozer, (both untrue). I asked her if her dad ever talked about what he really felt when Frank Sinatra, brought Dean "Dino" Martin on that Muscular Dystrophy Telethon stage, unknowingly to Jerry Lewis, back in 1976? It had been twenty years since the falling out...what was the falling out?
Deana Martin was a pure joy to talk to. So very giving of her time and memories. If you are too young to remember and appreciate Dean Martin, you can catch all of the unedited, unscripted, unbelievable talent that ever crossed the stage.
    Perfect gift for the holiday!
The Dean martin Variety Show: Dean's Ultimate Collection, a 17 disc DVD set Plus a 32 page book that will take you back to the original "retro" as it was, cigarette and drink in hand. • A Clockwork Orange's Malcolm McDowell Talks His New Slasher Film Silent Night, Loosely Based On Silent Night, Deadly Night
Malcolm McDowell is an original! He has fun with the parts that he chooses and somehow always makes them multidimensional, multifaceted, multilayered.
Whether he is portraying Alex DeLarge in A Clockwork Orange, or the man who killed Captain Kirk in Star Trek Generations, to Dr. Samuel Loomis, Halloween's Michael Myers psychiatrist to his current role as Sheriff Cooper in Silent Night.
The movie starts out in a small mid-western town, Christmas Eve Night, and the annual Christmas Eve Parade. Oh yes, one small detail, there is a maniac in a Santa suit running around killing those he deems to be naughty.
I'm not a big slasher movie fan, I learned that Malcolm McDowell isn't one either, but this is different because it's done tongue in cheek. Yes, you will be terrified but some laughter will bring your blood pressure back down to normal throughout.
I think you will thoroughly enjoy this film, Silent Night, and it's available on Blue Ray and DVD TODAY!

What's it like growing up with a father who created such beloved characters as the Pink Panther, Forghorn Leghorn, The Tasmanian Devil, Mr. Magoo, Sylvester Jr. and Speedy Gonzales? Robert McKimson Jr. is the son of one of the most accomplished and influential animators in history. Robert McKimson Jr.'s new book "I Say, I Say ...Son" includes never before seen drawings, reproductions, animation cels, comic book illustrations, lobby cards and screen captures. It is a comprehensive look at real animation, the kind of animation that was done by hand, long before the digital age and computer animation.
Robert talks about his dad's process (what comes first the story, the animation or the voice), how an automobile accident changed his father's life and the way he worked and what kind of father Robert McKimson was.
I am not an artist of any kind when it comes to drawing however I appreciate the people who have that artistic skill.
