In our conversation, Myles shares about building his own photography business (The Koebels) with his wife, Chantelle. We also get to know what he does (everything) at Post Partner.

At the end of our conversation with Myles, he shares how he realized that comparison was toxic to his overall wellness , and that recognizing what he wants his business to look like and who he wants his work to resonate with really changed the way he feels about the art he creates.

So many photographers that I see online have the desire to photograph weddings around the world. In this episode I thought I would have a conversation with a real destination photographer named Taliah Leigh and ask her what it takes to be a destination photographer.

Team tips:

Annika - Schedule a specific time and day to edit. Focus on important elements of image: tones + horizons.

Simone - Use before and after function to check for overall tones. Use grid view to review images.

Tomasz - Use keyboard+mouse shortcuts for frequently used Lightroom tools. Trust your eye while editing and review once finished using the grid view.

Myles - Have an ergonomic set up to maximize comfort and efficiency.

If you want to start editing faster, learning the keyboard shortcuts will save you a ton of time! You can crop, straighten, white balance, exposure and more all from your keyboard. Once you are able to nail down the right keys you’ll be editing faster then you have before.
