Itidal's family's status in the region added complexity to the decision, but with her father's blessing, she embarked on a path that would ultimately make her a symbol of grace and artistry. Her debut in 1968 with Fairuz and the Rahbani spectacle 'Jibal al-Sawan' in Baalbeck marked the beginning of her extraordinary career.
