Today we speak with esteemed guest Del Jolly. Del is a co-founder and director with Unlimited Sciences, a psychedelic research organization dedicated to studying the impacts of Decriminalization. Del comes from a position leading business development for Charlotte’s Web Hemp oil, the world’s largest CBD oil producer. Del is currently on the community board of advisors to the Realm of caring, a high impact cannabis non-profit, and was the outreach director to the Decriminalize Denver campaign, which passed a historical initiative to decriminalize psilocybin in the city of Denver. He is also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (No-Gi) practitioner under the 10th Planet System. He tells us all about his work with Unlimited Sciences and we delve into our shared passion for BJJ as well as the potentiality of mixing psychedelics with BJJ practice and competition. Few consider the physical and mental performance enhancement potentials but we dig deep into some of the limited research on this topic as well as our own experiences and ideas for this marriage. We talk about "Psychedelic-Informed Parenting" and how the use of psychedelics and the insights gained about reality and life can be integrated into an interesting and largely healthy parenting framework. Today we speak with friend and professional peer, Christine Pateros. She is a Seeker and Seer and acts as a bridge between worlds in hers and others' lives. On top of that, Chris is a painter, a Western trained Registered Nurse, a Ketamine Psychotherapist and a psychedelic researcher. She was trained in shamanic energy medicine by the indigenous peoples of Peru. What a fantastic connection and conversation we had! We get into the weeds about Ceremony and Ritual in medicine work and for use in general through our life experience, the healing potentials of altered states, and the possible landscapes of the spirit realms including all of thier otherworldly entity inhabitants. Chris discusses her training in Peru under the close direction of indigenous shaman of the area. We get into her work as a Medium and discuss alternative perspectives on Death that can bring us greater joy and compassion for ourselves and others as infinite beings in the most wonderful, yet finite vessels of experience. I loved this one. It made my heart bigger. Enjoy!!!
