If you don’t like my laugh, this is not the episode for you lol. The topic of this podcast is friendship which is very fitting since the guests are my two oldest friends. Josimar and Kaitlyn share some of the difficulties with establishing friendships and relationships during early adulthood. They talk about insecurities, how they manifest themselves, and ways to overcome intrusive thoughts. To me, this podcast is a great example of the vulnerability and acceptance that should flood every true friendship. I hope you find encouragement in the fact that good friends are hard to find but they are always worth pursuing. If you’re tired of putting yourself out there, I plea with you to keep trying.
As per usual, please email me at [email protected] if you’re interested in being a guest! Have a wonderful day:)
This episode features one of my best friends and sister in Christ Mim Knoble. We met while at Capernwray Bible School in England and she very easily became someone close to my heart. She discusses what it meant for her to grow up in Nepal and how her background shaped her into the woman she is today. We reflect on the difficulties as well as the blessings of moving to the United States. You will admire her honesty, wisdom, and humor as she shares her experience with the occasional STEM major rant. Hopefully, you learn a thing or two, or perhaps you share many same experiences and this will serve as a comfort that you're not alone.
Feel free to email me at [email protected] if you're interested in being a guest! Have a wonderful day:)
In this episode, we discuss the metaphors of illness and their impacts on the lives of people. The guest is Cynthia Mitchell, who speaks with the background of being an English teacher as well as someone who had cancer.
