Convince Me

If you had asked us before this week what the odds were of Elrod, not only contributing a show idea, but a good one that we would use, we would have told you they were about as good as Phil Mickelson's odds to make history this weekend and winning the career Grand Slam at the U.S. Open. But here we are!

This week, in anticipation of this weekend's U.S. Open at Torrey Pines, Rut and Bennett are creating their all-time foursomes draft-style to go head-to-head. Captained by Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods, which one will compile the greatest team of all-time golf legends? Tune in to find out.

Unfortunately, we aren't able to record this week, but we're going back to those notorious episodes before we were a podcast and bringing them to you in podcast form. We'll be back next week, but until then...

The most storied QB rivalry of the past 20 years goes one more round, this time in a new arena. Join us as Brian and Casey try to convince Andy of which one is truly the best!

Don't say that we don't listen to our listeners. This episode comes from a direct request from a loyal listener!

We've discussed the two top action movies stars in our archive, but what about when we go past the big two? This week Bennett and Elrod draft their teams of four and we will find out who can draft the best team of action movie stars!

It has been well established on this show that Rut and Elrod like to argue with each other. This week, it shows that this isn't just a schtick for the podcast. This topic stems from a group chat argument and it finds its way onto the pod to settle it...

Two country music artists from a time period that country music was really booming and had a lot in common. Raised in Texas, came out of the gates booming to #1 and then ultimately got overlooked and seemingly got lost in the shuffle, and now find themselves extremely underrated by the masses. But this week, they're going head-to-head in the Convince Me Courtroom. It's Clint Black vs. Clay Walker.

A&E is putting out weekly wrestling biographies. Dark Side of the RIng is back on Vice TV. Rut appeared on Sean Waltman's podcast last week. It only makes sense that we're in the mindset to talk a little 'rasslin!

This week Rut and Bennett square off and draft who they believe is the best pro wrestlers of all time. Let us know who you think won because Elrod is incompetent as usual and let us know your list!

THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN!

We took a couple of weeks off so Bennett could welcome the next Convince Me Kid, but we're back with a brand new episode.

Spring is here, the weather is warming up, and the world is opening back up little by little and that can only mean one thing... live music.

With Bonnaroo and other festivals returning this year, we decided to concoct our own festival lineup and we're going draft style to decide who can book the greatest music festival lineup for the debut of Convince MeArooChellaPalooza!

This week, it's another trip to our pre-podcast days! This was the 2nd episode we recorded and the first time we got a little long winded (which we try to control nowadays). This is a topic that hits meant alot to both Rut and Bennett and that shows in our first musical showdown. Enjoy this blast from the past, the 2nd of the illustrious 7 "pre-podcast" shows, and hopefully we'll have a brand new episode for you next week. But until then, this is the Convince Me Callback, Alice in Chains vs. Nirvana!

This week, we're going all the way back to the beginning. In the first of our Convince Me Callback series, we're releasing the first recording we ever made. When we recorded this episode, we didn't know what we were doing, we didn't know if anyone would ever it, we didn't even know the name of this show yet. It was released on Facebook and has since been added to YouTube, but was never released in podcast form... until now.

Join us this week and see just how far we've come in a year!

Our biggest show yet... our one-year anniversary and Episode 50! Thank you all for your support thus far!

What better way to celebrate the occasion than by having a full length debate over a topic that has come up multiple times in the past year and is a point of contention between Rut and Elrod for some time now. Several actors have done the suit of the Caped Crusader over the years. Some good. Some meh. But the overall consensus is that the best comes down to two of them, Michael Keaton and Christian Bale. But who is 1A and who is 1B? This week, we find out just that. We're starting off Year 2 with a bang as we decide who is the best Batman, Keaton or Bale!!
