Convince Me with Larry Smith

Larry gets the pleasure of speaking with author, Rex Ogle, about his new book “Punching Bag,” a memoir about growing up the victim of abuse, but ultimately surviving and how from the depths of despair can come a message of hope. Larry and Rex also discuss his time with Marvel and DC Comics, his love for a deep cut X-Men character, pizza, and their mutual love of comic books. (Please understand that this candid discussion can be difficult for some people and the subject matter can be disturbing for some.)

Larry and special guest host Vanessa Ferguson get to chat with producer and author Ben Sheehan about his time at Funny or Die, his new book aimed toward young adults “What Does the Constitution Actually Say?”, his dislike for a certain 24 hour cycle, and his love of a classic collectible. Make sure to check out Ben’s other book (for adults) “OMG WTF Does the Constitution Actually Say?” (As always, Larry allows the listener to use whatever language they want…but you’re an adult and it’s not that bad.)
