Episode Notes: CSP Ep 8 - Team Building: That Pizza’s Cold by Now

In this chaotic installment of Cool Side of the Pillow, Josh returns to the workspace to find that Vince has officially "moved in" (complete with a unicorn blanket of questionable hygiene). The workspace is quickly thrown into disarray by a burst pipe, a high-stakes deal with a cousin named Big Bubba, and the heartbreaking loss of a monster truck.

To get the show back on track, the boys dive into a team-building training video from "Derek’s Pizza Pit" that is less about leadership and more about third-degree cheese burns and "Open Oven Policies."

In Episode 2, Vince opens up about a dream where a squad of overly helpful superheroes keeps swooping into his life, only unasked, uninvited and wildly overenthusiastic. Think: Avengers-level intervention for extremely normal tasks like opening a pickle jar or finding a parking spot at the supermarket.

Josh does his best to interpret the symbolism, while Vince tries to figure out why his subconscious is apparently staffed by a full Justice League.

Then Josh and Vince tackle the topic of the never-ending avalanche of superhero movies and TV shows or The Great Cape Overload! Our dynamic duo discuss fan burnout, completist guilt and the pressure to be “caught up” in a universe that expands faster than we can watch.
