Maggi quizzes Lizz on her favorite romantic tropes. Maggi confesses that she was once part of a love triangle.

Our boss lady joins us this week to talk about the Olympics, the history of Olympics, and the involvement of women within the program! We've geeked out on the history stuff and learned a TON about figure skating and Olympics! We discuss some badass ladies who rocked our worlds and won some medals (or got disqualified). We make jokes about what song they would play for when we would win medals (in our fictional Olympics), Lady Doritos, and Skeleton vs Luge. Taylor and Maggi go on and on about Yuri! on Ice and how wonderful it is and Lizz explains to Maggi about Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan. Our boss threatens to shut us down at least 3 times.

This week cha girls come to you to talk about something that was near and dear to their hearts in high school, LOVE TRIANGLES! The most romantic of the shapes, they discuss Bella and Edward vs Bella and Jacob, Katniss and Peeta vs Katniss and Gale, and fanfiction. They admit to some of their fanfiction faves, how everything is fanfiction, and how Harry Potter vs Twilight is reductive. ALSO MAGGI IS A BIG NERD AND TALKS ABOUT BOOKS A LOT. Also she proves to herself that she remembers a lot from her creative writing classes.

Lizz and Maggi looked at each other after last week and said "Wow, we forgot a lot of movies." So they're back to talk about EVEN MORE SPACE LADIES. We discuss all of the very man heavy space movies that all seem to be the same? But Sandra Bullock is amazing? Maggi gets to find out more about treatment for Spacephobia (A REAL THING) and Lizz shares a moment where she was able to provide representation for someone she knows. They get very excited about Hidden Figures and how much history they hadn't been taught!

Maggi and Lizz are back in the country and back on their grind! Lizz comes raring into the new year with high hopes of discussing WWII. We discuss how women's roles changed during this time and how media reflects that. They discuss Dunkirk, The Sound of Music, Their Finest, and The Diary of Anne Frank. They chat about the WWII history they learned on their trip and the different perspectives they saw of WWII. They discuss a little about wage gaps and multiple job having history.  Lizz lets us in on her secret work out playlist. Hint: It's Trolls.
