Introduction: When Jesus returned from the Jordan area John had baptized him, he hasted in the wilderness – where Satan tempted Him – to no avail.

Now it was time to begin His work of teaching the covenant people of God, the the Kingdom of God was at hand.

This was prophesied long ago: Isa: 61: 1-3
