Wishing everyone a Happy Valentine's Day, even though Todd and I don't celebrate it. I'll explain why. (It's not as anti-romantic as it sounds.) Also, I need your advice on how to tell the kids that Todd and I got upgraded to First Class on an upcoming flight and they didn't. No regrets!

Very busy weekend here in the Koch household! Including staying up later than I can remember in MANY years, finding my first CD and The Grammys.

Folks, we made it through the week. If you're here in North Texas, you know what a challenge that was. Kids go back to school MONDAY -- and most of us are sooo ready (including the kids). Also, let's talk about the Dallas Zoo and my newest addiction: FaceDance.

I can't remember ever hearing the word "Thundersleet" before, but today changed that. And it really lived up to the hype, at least at our house.

The big freeze has started here in Dallas. Schools let out early, grocery stores were chaos...and that's after just a few raindrops and sloppy snowflakes! What will tomorrow hold?!

I took a pickleball class yesterday and now everything hurts...and I want to do it again! I also signed up for the bone marrow database and hope to be able to help some folks.
