God’s plan for our comfort is found in our ability to be in community. We aren’t designed to suffer in isolation! We find hope & strength in each other.

In adversity, our temptation is to hit the “eject button”. There’s always one available, and we push it to quit & get off this ride. But that choice never makes our lives better. In the painful, unfair moments of life, we have a tendency to believe that God is either absent, apathetic, or angry. That just isn’t true! God still cares. God’s still working – even when we can’t see it.

Being FOR others will always cost us something… but the cost is what makes it worth it. The cost is what gives us greater purpose. The cost is how we know we’re doing something worthwhile.

Changing the world is about doing for someone what you wish you could for everyone. Whose life has changed because you were willing to reach out of your own & into theirs? We are being called to reach farther, but we don’t have to do it alone.
