As we celebrate one of the most significant days in history, we can and should, rest assured that the resurrection is not only possible, but also provable. God calls us to walk by faith and not by sight, but faith without substance is foolishness. The gospel we hear must become the gospel we live.

In this message we continue to establish our role as ambassadors of Christ and ministers of reconciliation. We have been given great assurance in the resurrection of our bodies and the rewards that await our obedience. The ministry of reconciliation is one that should naturally flow from our hearts to a lost world. We must become overwhelmed with the greatness of our reconciliation and let that gospel truth motivate us to be vessels through which God pleads with the lost to be reconciled to God!

In this message we start on our third core value of discipleship, "Reaching Others". We will look at "Why Reach Others" as the foundational question for living with intentionality to reach the lost with the gospel. The reality is that Jesus chose us and sent us to be his witnesses to world that needs him desperately! If we cease to be witnesses our world will continue in the downward spiral of immorality and spiritual bankruptcy. It is time for the church to awaken to the truth that there is no plan B for reaching the lost. We are it!

This week we dig deeper into the practical side of what gospel-centered community looks like and how we should endeavor to live out this truth in our lives.

God is the example and author of community. We, the church, are a blood bought family and must recognize that counter culturally, we a called to unity and to a commitment to gospel-centered community. This week we continue to dig into "growing together in love" what "gospel-centered community" is and its out-working in us as we grow in our belief of the gospel!

This is the second part of the foundation for our need for community. As image bearers of God we are to image our Trinitarian God within gospel-centered community, realizing that it really is the gospel that makes community possible. Jesus suffered separation from the Godhead, momentarily, to bring us back into a relationship with God, reconciling us to himself, but also reconciling us to each other. The gospel unites us, makes us God's family and is the second part of the foundational reasoning for "why" we need community!

We continue the 'Core Four' series

to deal with "growing together in love." This week we look at the foundation for community. If the foundation isn't biblical, we may go through the motions and never experience what God intends His people to experience as we share life with each other.

As we wrap up the first part of our Core Four Series, "Loving God," we will look at the biblical way we are to measure our affection or love for God as a means of growth in the grace of God and our witness to the world. While "measured love is not to be confused with earned salvation…" as believers we must commit to biblically measuring our love for God!

As we continue our Core Four series, we look at the gospel; the bad news and the good news, as our sole motivation for our love for God. All that we do in the name of the Lord should be done out of a heart filled with wonder over the reality of the gospel! The gospel must be the source and center of our devotion to God.

Today we continue the first message in the Core Four Series, which calls us to consider the question "who is God?" God must become the object of our affection if we are going to serve him faithfully!
