Warren Buffet was the most successful financial investor of the 20th century. Because of that achievement, Buffet is consistently asked to share his investment strategies. One of these strategies is a fundamental rule of investing that might surprise you. Warren Buffet says, “I never invest in a company I don’t understand.” While many of us might follow Buffet’s advice when it comes to our financial investments in companies, this week we are taking Buffet’s advice personally for the way we see our own lives. In other words, while we have begun our journey talking about growing the capital that God has invested in us, it is at this point in the journey that we admit that we cannot separate our investment strategy from our identity struggle.
