We've been invited to be a part of the people of God; we've been offered immortality and everlasting life; we've been welcomed into a group of people that includes the prophets and apostles themselves, and not because we could afford to pay the dues- we couldn't.

It is our responsibility to pray that God's will be done. It is not our way, it is God's way.

Let's put this on because it's what God has already been doing. It's who we are: Rooted. Restful. Relational. Life with God on behalf of the world.

Learning to sit in stillness of our unmet desires is the mark of spiritual maturity. Rest begins when we trust that God is more than just the meter of our needs, but that he is loving Father, the only one who can truly satisfy.

But Christ calls us to something different: to be rooted in Him, bearing fruits that last.
